Alicia's November reveal

Thanks for visiting our blog once again. Today I have three new projects to share with you, using lots of Memory Maze chipboard.

 Precious Baby Girl

First up in a layout of my little girl on our recent trip away. I have used a pretty floral heart doily piece to accentuate the photo in my layout. To dress the chipboard I first sprayed green paint mist, then I added a coat of clear embossing enamel for a shiny finish. The shimmer of the paint spray shows nicely through the enamel.

Mummy and Me

Next up is a pic of my little boy and myself mucking around taking some selfies. I used paint spray to colour the chipboard pieces, then added some dimensional paint dots along selected letters and around the curls of the wrought iron piece which I separated into two sections.

Merry Christmas

Finally I have a Christmas card to share. It's not long to go now. I have used a vintage frame painted in green first, and then covered in white sparkly embossing powder to give it a weathered but festive look.

Tracey Campbell's November Reveal

Greetings all. This month I have been extra busy around the house, work and with the family so I haven't actually done much scrapping....and I am having serious withdrawals from not getting creative. I did make some time to sit and scrap with some of the deliciously yummy Memory Maze chipboard designs and here is what I came up with.

Always Sisters

For this layout I wanted to give the chipboard pieces a very soft look to go along with the photos so I simply applied some white gesso and then misted it with a clear glimmer mist.

October reveal with Alicia Barry

This month I have just returned from travelling in Europe, and I have taken so many photos, so while I try to get the family back into some kind of normal routine, I am very excited to have new photos to scrap (and I do mean hundreds of photos).

 Sunshine in my soul.

We stayed in a beautiful castle in the French countryside and the property was a perfect background for some new photos of the kids. I have used Heartfelt Creations Classic Sunflower papers which I have accentuated with pretty flourish chipboard.

Paris
While we were away, Cameron in particular would climb up on everything he could find, so we figure we may as well turn it into a photo op. I love the styling of the old lamps in Paris, and love the Eiffel Tower just hanging out in the background.

For the chipboard lamp, I inked randomly in a bout 4 different shades of brown, then embossed with Metallic Melts in 4 more different colours. The lettering has been inked in two colours.

Vintage street lamp
Mixed letters
Cherry blossoms
Paper roses

For my Daughter
Last up is a pretty little card using a vintage. I have coated it in white ink, then white embossing powder and lastly some random little swipes of glitter to finish it off.

Donna's October Projects

Hello all,  It's my turn today to share some projects I have been creating.  I have created three projects this month to share,  a layout, some pocket pages and a card.  Hope you enjoy.

FAMILY TOGETHER

I love playing with mixed media products and memory maze chipboard works perfectly with many of the products out there on the market

I have painted the cherry blossom with Ranger distress paint and then stamped it with archival black ink for texture.

I broke my cherry blossom up so I could spread it over my layout.

I used leaves from a sheet set and again painted them with ranger distress paint, this time i used a few different colors.  I inked the edges with distress ink and then found a different stamp and stamped to add texture.

COOL IN THE POOL

Lately I have been trying to organise my many boxes of photos and trying to get them into albums.  I liked the pocket page idea as I can get more photos in and tell the story with little effort.  I keep it very simple and then have been adding 12 by 12 layouts to the albums to.

I cut this title up as it was all joined together and would not fit into the pockets.  I love how this has turned out,  you would not think I had cut them up.  As with the layout I have painted my chipboard to suit the colours of my photos.

Splash had a big splash attached to the H.  For the life of me I could not get the colouring right so I just removed it.  which also allowed me to attached the word down one of the cards instead of across.

My wee man is all grown up now but I remember this day so easily.  He was so excited to see all the water and no matter how hard I tried to actually get him in the pool,  he preferred  to play around it.  He is such a wee cutie.

I cut my chipboard up so I could spread it out over the two pockets to make it my focal point,
again this has just been painted.

ENJOY TODAY~IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE

I love how this turned out!  I had to Google image the van to see where the chrome went.  I then used and embossing pen and added the detail.  I embossed it with a silver embossing powder and then painted.  LOVE IT!
