Enjoy the Moment by Suzanne Franin

Hey Everyone my turn on the Memory Maze blog today
Make sure you check out the Memory Maze Store and check out what's new this week and see the blog for what the team have been up too
We also have an Instagram account so make sure if your in Insta you go add us memorymazelaser

and I'm slowly working my way through my daughter's wedding photos
There's no hurry as they don't want an album so I'm doing what I want with the photos that I love the most

The girls did their own hair and make up which turned out beautiful

This is what the Heart with Wire Insert looks like except with all the hexagons in it

I sat and glued all the hexagons onto a piece of cardstock with the outer edge but not the full frame

Once everything was glued down and dry I added Colour Blast Heavy White Gesso over the whole thing - I did a couple of coats to make sure I got into all the grooves

Then as you can see above I used the Colour Blast Colour Spray LOVE painting into the grooves as steadily as possible but as you can see that didn't quite happen I went over the edges a bit but it added to it I think

Then I used some Journaling Cards from the Prima range Midnight Garden (it's so pretty) and a couple of flowers from the Ephemera pack

On the Words Fancy - Smile and the Enjoy the Moment I rubbed some Finnabair Metallique Wax in the Brushed Iron to add a contrast colour

Then on the Prima Junk Yard Findings Globe I painted the back with some Finnabair Mettalique Acrylic Paint in Red Wine which suited the flowers in her hair and is a very similar colour to the Bridesmaids skirts
Then I randomly placed different sized white flowers around the project

Thank you for visiting I hope you come back soon x

Love by Suzanne Franin

Hey Everyone Suzanne here

This week on the Memory Maze Blog I created a canvas for a friend who lost her dad last year and every time I saw this photo on Facebook I knew I had to do something with it
And it just so happens it was her birthday a couple of days ago so what better present that a lovely memory

Don't forget to check out the rest of the blog for inspiration and check out and see the new products that are always coming out

I started off with some impasto on the background with the Diamond Stencil
Then I used Colour Blast Colour Shimmer Cubes in Singin the Blues and Just Blue on the grooves of the diamonds

With the Vintage Corners I painted them with Colour Shimmer Cubes in Snow White just for a bit of shimmer

On the Hearts a Pair I used the Snow White and Fire Engine with a bit of the Snow White over the top
After it dried it gave it a crackle look

Words Fancy Awesome, Spectacular I also used the Fire Engine

After finishing with all the embellishing I used the Micro Beads with a bit of Helmar Super-Tac Glue mixed together

I used some paper flowers, a metal circle and a paper clay key hole

Here I used a paper clay heart with wings I thought it was perfect for this picture

I believe in ART by Suzanne Franin

Hey Everyone Suzanne here

This week is my turn on the Blog and I created a mini canvas with a quote I thought most craft/art people would understand and appreciate
Make sure to check out the rest of Blog and take a look at everything else that's going on over there

I painted all the chipboard with white gesso first to prime it all for what I was going to do next

On the frame I used the Frank Garcia Artisan Powders to make the chipboard look like timber

The Colour Shimmer Sprays I used in Just Blue, Singing the Blues, Envy and Snow White I used to make my painting in my frame and add to the jar of water to make it look like it had been used for the painting and the Bling I used on the paper clay key hole I painted a few layers to get the depth of colour I wanted

Colour Paste in Fire Engine, Sunshine and Singing the Blues not that you can see the Sunshine through the Paint Brush Stencil Jar splats to add to the art part of the canvas
It's a great stencil as it has the jar, the brushes and the splats

I also used the Colour Shimmer Spray Fire Engine Spray on the handles of the scissors painting it on a few times so it came out nice and deep and then used some Finnabair Old Silver Wax on the blades to make them look more like real scissors lol

On the border I used Colour Shimmer Cube Tangerine Dream
I added a Heart from Charms Creations and a flair button from It's and Bits Craft Supplies
And loads of flowers lol

18 by Suzanne Franin

Hey Everyone

Well my baby turned 18 this month so I made him a sign in book where his friends took a photo

with him and then wrote him a message along with it
I didn't do the cover till after the party and everyone had signed so that it didn't get ruined

I started by painting all my chipboard and straws with black gesso
Then used the Checkerplate stencil with some modelling paste for some texture on the background

Then repainted it with the black gesso again

I painted all the chipboard I used with black gesso
Then I stuck the Clock with Cogs on I had to cut it in a few places to fit through the rings
I liked the way it over hung on the book it made it look different not just a standard book

Around the Checkerplate stencilled area I used the Colour Blast Colour Shimmer Brush Marker in Gold for a little sparkle

Then on all the Mini Clocks and the hands on the Bike, Cogs, Clock Moustache I used gold leaf because at his party he had black and gold

I used the Story Alphabet for his name and the numbers 18

Then the little frame that is around his photo was from the Mini Clocks It was around one of the clocks (he's posing in this photo it was the day he tried on his suit for his sister's wedding and I love the photo)
