You are my Sunshine by Hetty Hall

Good morning Crafty Peeps and welcome to the Memory Maze Chipboard Blog, it is Hetty with you today. For today's blog post I have created a layout with several pieces of Memory Maze Chippies.

You are my Sunshine

To keep the layout looking uniform I embossed all the chipboard pieces in white embossing powder. I love using white as this really makes them stand out especially when you use busy background paper.

I started by breaking up my honey comb chipboard panel into bits and pieces as I wanted it to look random. On top of that I layered my gorgeous chipboard tag and added my photo. I then added the frame to my photo for many gorgeous layers. I added the cute sentiment to the left of the layout to balance everything out.

I have used the following chipboard elements:

Honeycomb

Vintage Frame

Chipboard Tag NO 12

Sentiment (You are my Sunshine)

Don't forget to check out the rest of the Memory Maze store for more great chipboard.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs

Hetty

New product release: Catch my Dreams

Hello crafty friends, we are so excited to share our new release acrylic Dream Catchers and feathers with you today. Let's take a look!
Memory Maze has a large range of Dream Catchers that can be found online here. The range is extensive and includes chipboard sets (as per images below), wooden or acrylic pieces. The one pictured above is our new 4 inch or 100x100mm size. This is perfect for a special card, mixed media project or scrpabook layout. It of course can also be produced in wood or chipboard.
Another exciting release this month is acrylic feathers which couple nicely with the acrylic dream catcher. These can be cut in any of the Memory Maze acrylic colours, wood or chipboard.
Aren't they just adorable? The acrylic is 3mm thick and the colours are outstanding. Fantastic for adding that something extra to your scrapbook layouts, mixed media and off the page projects. Even as a special embellishment on a card, we are sure you will love them! Let's take a closer look...
If you are interested in any of the Memory Maze products, be sure to contact your local craft store or Memory Maze for your local stockist where we can place our local sales reps in contact with them.

Family is the Best - layout by Lynn Good

Hi everyone,

Lynn here today to share a 12x12 layout that I have created.

To create my background I have cut some round 1"circles from the 7 dots Hazy days paper collection and placed them around the layout where my photo will be.  I then used a Paper Artsy Stamp and stamped randomly around the layout.

Using Dina Wakley Scribble Sticks in Lemon, sky and lime I coloured the stamps in.

I have used a Memory Maze Chipboard - Retro frame which I cut up to suit my layout better,  I covered them with a white gesso and then used three different embossing powders to match the background.

With a black pen I traced around the circles that I had punched an adhered to the background.

Here are some more close ups:

12 x 12 scrapbook layout - Live the Moment by Lynn Good

Hi there, Lynn here with a 12x12 scrapbook layout featuring not only the Memory Maze Chipboard but also the stunning metal flowers and stencil.

I started with 13 Arts Paper from Aria Story Collection.  I created the background using the Memory Maze stencil and whipped spackle randomly around the area of the photo.  I have then used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink, Fossilized Amber and water, drying between the layers.

The Square Mesh Grunge Chipboard has been painted black with Dylusions Paint.  This co-ordinates well with the kaisercraft stamp in the background.

The title "Live the Moment" has also been painted with Dylusions paint and when dry I have added a coat of dimensional magic to make it pop.

Two Memory maze metal flowers have been adhered with 3D Gloss Medium and sprinkled with Micro Beads.

Splatters of white and black ink bring the layout together.

Scrapbook layout - There is only one you - by Lynn Good

Good morning - well march is nearly over - where is the year going?  Today I have made a layout using the beautiful double heart vintage frame.

I have used 13 Arts paper - feeling blue from the Aura Rosa Collection,  I love this paper as it is thick and withstands mixed media and larger chipboard.

I have created the background using the Memory Maze Dots and Stuff stencil and Nuvo Mousse Mother of Pearl randomly around the page.

I used gesso and a stiff brush to get a bit of texture on  the  Memory Maze double heart vintage frame before embossing it with Stampendous Embossing Enamel - Shabby Blue.

The Memory Maze title has been painted with a dark brown acrylic paint and topped with Glossy Accents.

The layout came together beautifully with the Petaloo flowers, glass beads, micro beads, Liquid pearls and Distress Glitter Dust.

Here are some close ups:
