Spectacular by Sarah
Hello crafty friends, today I have another page from my Vicki Boutin Junque Journal to share with you.
Today’s layout is celebrating Fathers Day at kinder for my youngest son last year. The patterned paper to the left of the layout was created using acrylic paints, stamps and stencils.
The other elements of the layout are from Studio Calico and Elle’s Studio. The Memorymaze small acrylic pieces finished off the layout nicely and drew together the white background and colourful accents.
If you would like any of your local stores to stock Memorymaze products (if they don’t already), please be sure to get in contact and will arrange for one of our representatives to be in contact with them. All products can be found online at www.memorymaze.com

First Day with Sarah
Hello crafty friends, Sarah here with you today with a Travelers Notebook layout using the handmade paper from my 'mixed media bckgrounds' blog post on the 17 February 2019. Be sure to check that out if you haven't seen how I made that yet. Let's take a look...
For my youngest son's first day of school, of course I took a myriad of photos! My older son is not so keen on classroom pics anymore (apparently he is too mature for that now) so I wanted to capture this special first day of school for this little man. The perfect way to do this was in the A5 Travelers Notebook (TN) from The Travelers Notebook online. I plan to capture my memories this year by using a TN with key stories / photos in it each month.
The Memory Maze pocket pieces are perfect for this! If you havent heard of the Pocket Piece collection, this is a series of acrylic pieces designed to be used together for memory keeping particular topics of interest - this one being a focus on school / education. This layout showcases the gorgeous "First Day" acrylic piece in the shape of a red apple. This acrylic piece, and many more, can be found on the Memory Maze website here. The background paper I made using a variety of stencils and stamps was cut and adhered to the pages of the TN. The photos were backed using book paper and black cardstock. The circle stickers were from the Ali Edwards 'Learn' kit. I loved how the green stickers complimented the colours in the background paint colours. Lastly, I adhered the acrylic piece using Helmar Quick Dry glue. If you are interested in any of the Memory Maze products, be sure to contact your local craft store or Memory Maze for your local stockist where we can place our local sales reps in contact with them.

Memory Maze acrylic numbers
Hello crafty friends, Sarah here with you today to show you the amazing large acrylic numbers from Memory Maze.
I am just about to kick off a marathon effort to complete my 2017 family pocket style album. I pulled out the albums and they had a few scratches on them from being moved around the last couple of years. What a better way than covering up some of these dings with these large acrylic numbers.
The numbers are 100mm in height and are cut from a lovely 3mm acrylic. The acrylic comes in a number of coours and can be seen on the Memory Maze website here.
These numbers would be great on any scrapbook layout, pocket page, on cards, journal pages or off the page projects. They look fantatsic on any project coupled with Memory Maze other 'pocket pieces'. Check them out on the Memory Maze website here.

2018 Planner Page with Sarah
Hello crafty friends, Sarah here again to show you another use for your Memory Maze acrylic pieces. I just LOVE the 2018 design of the acrylic pieces - I think I have one in every colour! Take a look at this planner page I created using a black one.
I am in the process of completing my 2018 Memory Planner and felt I needed to alter some of the month divider pages. January was no exception and besides that it had snowflakes on the background, it is the first page you see as you open the book. I covered the page with white gesso, leaving some of the background designs to be seen. Using some Dina Wakley paints, I painted some opposing corners in colours to match my youngest son's outfit.
I layerered some pocket cards under the corners of the 5x7 inch photo. I used black and white for these and also the sticker adhered to the edge of the photo. The round details chipboard piece is from Ali Edwards and the 'Here and Now' sticker is from a Happy Planner sticker book in my stash. Lastly I adhered the 201 black acrylic piece from Memory Maze and I love the simplicity and ease of how this page came together. The range of acrylic pieces can be found online here. If you are interested in any of the Memory Maze products, be sure to contact your local craft store or Memory Maze for your local stockist where we can place our local sales reps in contact with them.

Monthly Travelers Notebooks for 2019
Hello crafty friends, Sarah here with you today to share some of my memory keeping plans for 2019. Today I show you a great idea for how to use Travelers Notebooks and Memory Maze acrylic words to get started with your memory keeping or planning for this year!
I am changing up my memory keeping for 2019 and will be trying out a monthly format of photos using an A5 size Travelers Notebook (TN). This is from The Travelers Notebook online and is 5.8x8.25 inches. All the details about the TNs I use can be found here. After completing my Documenting December album in this format, I really fell in love with it. The idea is that I will continue doing my daily memory planner (yes, I am still to complete my 2018 one) for our every day photos and will use these TNs for photos I'd like to highlight or tell stories about.
The acrylic words from Memory Maze are a lovely 3mm thickness and can be custom made to your requirements. There are some examples online of words you can order but Memory Maze is ideal for those special orders - unique names etc. You can choose the size of the word (height or length), choose from a wide range of fonts and colours. Check out more details by clicking here. Here is a closer look at the beautiful white acrylic.

Christmas Star by Suzanne Franin
Hey Everyone Suzanne here
Merry Christmas I hope you get everything you dream of from Santa and share the love with everyone
Today on the Memory Maze Blog I'm sharing a Christmas project of a special little girl who I did the same sort of photo last year so this year instead of round we have gone for a star
Here is a close up of the Silver Acrylic Deer Head it has sparkle through the acrylic it's so pretty and my little friend in the photo has a deer on her top
The Wings I added to a paper clay clock that mum did for me
along with a few other paper clay pieces that are scattered around the star
I also used some small white flowers and some art pebbles which got covered with the Art Alchemy Wax as well
I love these Bling Tutu Flowers they are so pretty and the red worked perfect for this project
they also come in a few other colours so make sure to check out the site and get your local store to get them in
Thank you for visiting and I hope you will come back soon x
With the lid of the tin I used Finnabair's Poppy Red Impasto so I didn't need to prime it
I used a sponge with the paint and it gave a nice stippled affect
I also did the same with the back
Once it was dry I added some Art Alchemy Wax in Old Silver around the edge of the lid and all of the chipboard embellishments
I also added a transparent heart, a flat pearl bead onto a metal piece
Underneath you can see a star from Charms Creations it's so pretty it has glitter in the material
The Wings I added to a paper clay clock that mum did for me

Simple Gift idea with Sarah
Hello crafty friends, Sarah here with a simple gift idea for Christmas or a gift for the New Year in reflection of the year we have had.
As a gift idea for this year, I have put together two small albums full of photos of my boys throughout 2018 for their grandmother. Whilst I havent had time to scrapbook them, I thought this was a lovely way to reflect on the year that was 2018 and she can then choose to the use the photos in her scrapbooks or just keep them in an album.
To finish off the gift. I adhered the gold acrylic 2018 piece from Memory Maze to the front of the album. These albums are from Office Work and I chose the black and white ones to ensure the gold stood out. Let's take a closer look at the beautiful glimmer of the acrylic. I just love how it turned out. I then compiled the two albums together with some gorgeous mint ribbon and it's done! Hope nanny likes it! The 20219 design is now available on the website at www.memorymaze.com.au. As pictured below, this is avialable in chipboard, acrylic, wood veneer and coloured board.

Teacher gifts with Sarah
Hello crafty friends, Sarah here with you today with some more designs using the wonderful acrylic pieces by Memorymaze Lasercuts.
These brooch cards were made as end of year teacher gifts - a lovely card and brooch to give your child's teacher or educator to say thankyou for another great year. As pictured above I also used some small acrylic apples to make earrings to accompany the brooch cards.
I used the Ali Edwards 'Learn' clear stamp set for the sentiment for these cards. I just loved the words 'Thankyou for teaching me all the things' The acrylic pieces and brooch pins for this project can be found online at http://www.memorymaze.com.au/

Hello crafty friends, I am here to showcase some of the new smaller acrylic pieces by Memorymaze Lasercuts.
You would have to agree that these goregous acrylic pieces, designed both for earrings and brooches are just so unique. Designed especially by Memorymaze Lasercuts, I have had such fun putting these together as little gifts coming up to Christmas.
The range of designs, much more than is pictured here, can be found online at http://www.memorymaze.com.au. I have adhered 4mm surgical steel earring posts to the acrylic pieces and positioned them on some kraft cardstock I have cut using a die in my Big Shot machine. Here's some of my favorite designs;

Unicorn Love by Suzanne Franin
Hey Everyone Suzanne here
I have a couple of friends that love unicorns but one in particular who saw this picture and loved it so I HAD to make her something with it
So for my Memory Maze project this week this was created for her
Don't forget to check out the rest of the blog for any of the latest products or news or just have a look around at some of the awesome Design Team work for inspiration
Because the photo is so colourful I wanted the background to be neutral and simple but still have texture
So I started off by using texture paste through the Mini Divided Heart Stencil once each layer dried I went over it again for extra height
I then used clear gesso over the top of them and made sure I carefully pushed into the divided lines of the heart
I stamped archival in with the Vintage Baroque Stamp randomly over the canvas but because there are so many raised areas it didn't show up very well
On the word Unicorn I used Colour Embossing Powder in Snow White which showed up silvery because I painted the all the embellishments in black gesso
Here I spray Colour Shimmer Spray in Dusty Charcoal to enhance the grooves in the hearts
I used the Unicorn from the Set that has a few different sizes, the word and some stars in it
With the medium Unicorn I used Colour Embossing Powder in Bling
I also used it on the arrow
I used the Unicorn Acrylic White and the Double Heart Vintage Frame which I also used the bling Colour Embossing Powder raising two of the corners up using the Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots it's great for having height without having to use white dots that you can see
Here I filled the glass bottle with little beads I have a heap of and used a flair button from Flutterby Designs
Memory Maze products I used
Unicorn Set
Arrow from a set
Thank you for visiting and I hope you will come back soon x
