Teacher gifts with Sarah

Hello crafty friends, Sarah here with you today with some more designs using the wonderful acrylic pieces by Memorymaze Lasercuts.
These brooch cards were made as end of year teacher gifts - a lovely card and brooch to give your child's teacher or educator to say thankyou for another great year. As pictured above I also used some small acrylic apples to make earrings to accompany the brooch cards.

I used the Ali Edwards 'Learn' clear stamp set for the sentiment for these cards. I just loved the words 'Thankyou for teaching me all the things'
The acrylic pieces and brooch pins for this project can be found online at http://www.memorymaze.com.au/

Merry Christmas with Sarah

Hello crafty friends, Sarah here with you to show some more brooch cards using the gorgeous new Australian Christmas designs by Memorymaze.
I'm sure you'd have to agree that the designs are beautiful- extending from my last post to now include a Wombat, kangaroo, koala and a platypus all with cute Santa hats on!

The designs pictured above are Aussie Christmas tree and kangaroo, koala and pelican in Christmas stocking - so adorable. The extensive Christmas range of wood veneer, chipboard and acrylic pieces can be found online at www.memorymaze.com.au
These pieces would look fantastic on Christmas cards, off the page projects, scrapbook layouts. The animals are also available without the Santa hats for a more generic use. Hope you enjoyed this post and it inspired you to get crafty!

Australian Christmas brooch cards with Sarah

Hello crafty friends, Sarah here today with some of the new Australian themed Christmas designs from Memory Maze lasercuts.
For these new designs, please check out the Memory Maze website here. Let's take a look at the other designs created using these wooden veneer pieces.
These cards are easy to put together. Simply adhere a brooch pin to the back of the wood piece. You want to ensure this is totally dry before attempting to pin this to the card.

Position the piece on your card front and pierce two small holes in the card to pass the brooch pin through. Position and stamp your sentiment - I like to use my MISTI (check this out on you tube if you havent seen them!) to ensure accurate stamping every time. Then pin the dried piece to your card and you're done! Let's take a closer look at the other two designs. The crocodile card is on a Kraft background.
For these cards I have used stamps from my stash, however Memory Maze also have a vast range of rubber stamps that are also available. Take a look back through my previous blog posts for some examples of these. They can be found online here.

Mini Mothers Day cards with Sarah

Hello crafty friends, Sarah here with you today with some new acrylic pieces from Memory Maze...perfect for some more mini brooch cards!
With Mother's Day coming up this month, I have been busy creating some mini cards using some of the gorgeous wooden veneer pieces as well as some of the new acrylic designs. All of the new products for May can be found on the website here. The acrylic and wooden pieces were adhered to a brooch pin and set aside to dry. The cards are then stamped with a sentiment (this one is a Kaisercraft stamp) using my MISTI. This is the most incredible stamping tool invented - if you havent seen it in action, check it out on YouTube. It is ideal for making cards as it allows you to stamp in the same spot every time.

Lets take a closer look at the cards and some of the products used here.
I just love the range of embellishments that Memory Maze offers - whether they be in wood veneer or acrylic. Some favs for mums special day include sewing machines, deers, doggies, VW van and gorgeous hot air balloons - this one I backed with patterned paper to stand out from the card.

I hope you enjoyed these cards and will be sure to give them a go yourself. If you are interested in any of the Memory Maze products, be sure to contact your local craft store or Memory Maze for your local stockist where we can place our local sales reps in contact with them.
