Family Birthday Board

Good Morning Everyone Mez here. It's my turn to show you some new items.
But me being me had something that I should have finished last Christmas, so that is what i am going to show you.
So this is where you can find it on the website.http://www.memorymaze.com/product_info.php?products_id=21585&osCsid=phjrtekpq9tg11emth4a7nm3q3
Birthday Board, Veneer, 300 mm with 20 hearts and rings, #projectlife#memorymaze,#lasercut#chipboard.

I actually decided to paint mine & made it look like woodgrain & used three different shades of paint. This time I used browns but you can use any three. Paint the board in the middle shade & the whilst still wet drag the other colours through with the side of your brush to give the illusion of wood.

I then gave it a tyouch of gold through the grain. Put a layer of varnish on it & let it dry. This is so when you do the letters on the bottom if you go outside the lines it will wipe off easily.
I then painted all the hearts & Title in Rich Gold & set them aside to dry while I did the lettering.
I put it all togeather & it now looks like this.

The colours are actually the same as the top photo.
I hope you enjoy it. Great Christmas gifts.

Christmas Banner Part 1

Hi everyone Candy here with my latest
tutorial using the Memory Maze Chipboard.
Today I have created Stage 1 of my Christmas Banner.
It measures approx 8 inches in length and 8 inches wide.

I started with the Christmas Angel decoration piece.
Give it a good coat of gesso or white paint.
Let this dry then coat the middle (angel and leaves) with some versamark.
Give a good coat of the white/gold embossing powder.
Using string/twine doubled and a glue gun, wrap around the edges of the frame
part of the decoration. There will be some ares you can't wrap but
when you have finished wrapping cut the twine in lengths and glue in the spaces.
Cut your triangle banner and glue the decoration onto the top middle of the banner.
Add the lace around the edges, flowers and leaves.
Dry brush some white gesso over the top of everything using a dry brush.
Punch a hole in each top corners of the banner, add a large eyelet
and thread some twine through.

Home Decor Book Stack-By Leanne Nankervis

Hi Everyone!
Leanne here to share another project with you today, using products from Memory Maze Lasercuts.
Today I'm sharing a Décor Book Stack, I saw this shared on the Graphic 45 Blog by Gloria Getgen Stengel, using one of Graphic 45s new paper ranges. I had a stack of books at home so decided to cover my books, I had some old paper ranges in my stash to use up, so I created my own, adding some Memory Maze Chipboard to my altered books.

Altered Books

I covered all my books in Graphic 45 papers, then decorated the books with ribbons, di-cuts and Memory Maze chipboard.
I used the Memory Maze film strip which I painted in black acrylic paint, and adhered some di-cut stamps behind them.

I also used the cogs from Memory Maze which I painted in black acrylic paint and used Finnabair waxes in a few colours to highlight the cogs.

Memory Maze supplies used:

12 x 12 all there is is cogs, cogs for everything

Dare Devil

It's Mez Again,
The background on this one is pulled from a Gelli Plate to which I added a Memory Maze stencil to tone down the yellow. I then mounted the photos on some Memory Maze Chipboard. I had some left over flairs & a sticker title.
Pretty quick & simple & using left over stash. Enjoy.

Merry Christmas with Candy

Hello ladies and gents.
Christmas is in the air, only 18 more weeks till Christmas eekkk.

Today I have created a 6 x 6 inch easel card using some Christmas
chipboard pieces from Memory Maze.

I painted all the chipboard pieces with some white paint, you can use gesso instead if you have some.
While the paint is wet on the frame and star pieces cover well with clear glitter and let dry.
The tree, holly leaf branch I coloured using some sharpie pens.
Brown, red and green.
Add crystal stickles to the edges of the leaves and also on the berries.
Let these dry and add to the front of your card.
