Steampunk Canvas by Lynn Good

Hi, Lynn here with a canvas that I have created using items found in my sons room after he left home.  This is my memory canvas!!!!

I started using a stencil and Prima Gloss Medium on the canvas in the areas I knew would not be covered by the computer motherboard.  I then began gluing all the things I found - Computer memory board, dominoes, cd, buttons, screws, bolts, nuts, bearings to name a few.  I then added metal embellishments and chipboard pieces.

Once the Prima heavy duty gel I used to glue everything down with was dry I covered everything with black gesso.  In hindsight it would have been easier to gesso in stages of layering!

Once the two coats of gesso were dry I began colouring using Prima Art Alchemy paints and Prima Art Alchemy Sparks paints. Layers and layers of paints and finishing touches with Micro and Glass Beads and Prima Art Alchemy Wax. - a list of of all the colours I have used are at the bottom of the blog.
Here are some close ups:

Adore U by- Leanne Nankervis

Hi Everyone!
Leanne back here with you today, to share some more projects using the wonderful Memory Maze chipboard products.
Adore U
Today I'm sharing a layout I did for a friend, the photo is of her daughter Jessica on her birthday, something bright and colourful for this cold winters day.

I used the small title Adore which I embossed with Lindys Stamp Gang embossing powder. The U was from the Alphabet set which I embossed in the same colour.

I also used the daisies from the chipboard flower pack, which I embossed in the same colour as my title.

Memory Maze supplies used:

Tropical Birthday Card

Thought I would share another project with you today, I made this tropical beach birthday card using up some of my scraps.

I used the Happy birthday from the word pack, I left it in its raw state sometimes I like to do this leave in its natural form.

close up of the card elements, I also used the negative surround of the frame which I embossed in Tim Holtz distress embossing powder.

Mixed Media tags with Candy

Hello hello welcome everyone.
I have had these tags in my stash for a while and thought I would give them
a mixed media overhaul.

Both  tags I covered with some scrap paper from my stash using some matt medium
making sure the scrolls and penny farthing bike stick to my base.

My first one has the penny farthing bike on it.
After the base is dry I used a script stamp and stamped all over it with \
black stazon ink.

I glued on the metal flower and leaves,
then the resin flower in the middle of the flower.
I then sprayed with the indigo and turquiose sprays,
went over the top of everything with the black stazon ink pad
I glued on the flowers and butterfly and the phrase Beauty.
Splatted with the black ink then when that was dry
went over using my finger with the crystalina glitter.

Tag no 2

I have used a wrought iron scroll on this one.
I did the base the same as the first one.
Cover with your scrap paper, glue the scrolls on.
I did cut these to fit. Just the straight ends.
Glue on the metal flower and butterfly and
Coat with white gesso let dry them spray with Sunset, bubblegum
and the turquoise sprays.
Rub your black ink pad over the top and around the sides.

I then glues on my flower, leaves and phrase.
And coat with the crystalina glitter
