Paint Palette by Suzanne Franin

Hey Everyone Suzanne here

For this weeks project for the Memory Maze Blog I used a paint palette
I love mixed media (if you didn't already know that about me)
I love the layers and the textures and how abstract it can be
There doesn't have to be a theme it can just BE

So with this palette I added some things that I loved and I loved the way they looked together

I used the Paint Brush Stencil
I started with painting the palette with black gesso then adding the brushes stencil with crackle paste
Once that dried I started adding things, Memory Maze ChipboardEmpty Mason JarsChicken Wire LargeBackground Grid Trellis, flowers, metal, muslin, paperclay shapes, different shaped and sized frames, art stones and a light bulb

I then painted it all with black gesso

I then used Finnabair waxes in a few different colours over different parts and the very end I used the gold for the final touch and glitter glass to finish it off because you always need a bit of sparkle

Family Rocks by Leanne Nankervis

Hi everyone!
Leanne here to share another project today, using chipboard products from Memory Maze Lasercuts.
Today I'm sharing a altered clipboard I made, inspired by one of my favourite artists Finnabair mixed media artist! I just love her work. I have used and old photo of my brothers and I when we were so little, I just love old photos and all things vintage.

Family Rocks!

I used 7 Dots paper on my clipboard, I used some made up tea stain as a spray along with Finnabair Mica powder in gold made into a spray. I used a few colours in impasto paints to add colour and texture to my background. I also used the impasto in white through a script stencil, I used a few background stamps also in the background to add texture and interest. I then added some emphera music papers, tickets, some di-cuts, old buttons, ribbon etc.

Family rocks title from Memory Maze, I painted with Tim Holtz distress paint gathered twigs, I then stamped with a script stamp using Stampin Up whisper white ink pad.
I then highlighted my title using Finnabairs paint in Jade, the same colour as in my background.

One and Only U- By Leanne Nankervis

Hi Everyone!
Leanne here to share another project with you today, using products from Memory Maze Lasercuts.
Today I'm sharing a double layout wow! I haven't done one of these for a while, I'm using Kaisercraft Documented paper range, Brusho's, Tim Holtz distress stains and inks, Colour Blast paste and Lindys Stamp Gang sprays.

One and Only You

I toned down my number print paper by using white gesso paint, I then tore some paper and this is what I used my Brusho's , sprays and inks to create my mixed media background, for under my chipboard piece from Memory Maze.

Double layout page 1
I coated my chipboard pieces with gesso, once dried I used Tim Holtz distress stains to colour my chipboard so it blended with my mixed media background.

Double Layout page 2
I separated the last part of the frame and used it to continue across to my second page. I coloured my cogs, alphabet and numbers the same way I did for my frame, to blend in with my mixed media background.
Memory Maze Supplies Used:

12 x 12 all there is is cogs, cogs for everything

Arial 90 x 265 replacements for bulk alphabet 1 sheet.90 X 260

Cheers by Suzanne Franin

Hey Everyone Suzanne here

Here is my latest layout
I'm slowly working my way through the wedding photos (it will be their First Wedding Anniversary on the 18th of May lol)
I love this photo of the girls, I better do some of the boys soon though

Make sure to check out the rest of the blog for loads of inspiration and check out what's new

I had this Wine Glass Chipboard in my stash which was perfect but I didn't want to paint it like I always do so the paper range from Prima I used had this paper in it which is so pretty so
I glued it to the chipboard waited for it to dry then used a knife to cut around it

I then used some Art Alchemy Wax inAged Brass around the edge to get rid of the chipboard colour to finish it off

I added a few feathers for something different over the top of the vellum sheet that came with the matching flowers and feathers

One of the Prima papers has a foil print on the paper so I hand cut around it to make a frame
The little white flowers were out of one of the Prima packs

One of the Prima sheets of paper had different sized shapes on it and I cut a few different piece from that to lay under the glass and the added another flower

I then used the Finnabair Art Ingredients Glass Glitter in Copper randomly over the page for some sparkle

These flowers I got from a cheap shop and added some glass glitter too as well

I am Woman Hear Me Roar by Jason

Welcome to my Memory Maze blog post, today I will be sharing a new large tag.

This amazing new tag from Memory Maze is 24.8cm x 4.23cm perfect size for any craft project.

With this giant tag I painted it with a layer of 13 arts Gesso, then I put a layer of 3D Gloss Gel from Prima marketing's Finnabair collection I dried it with a heat gun.

I then prayed 13 arts Fuchsia over all the area of the 3D Gloss Gel for this amazing affect.

The title "I am Women Hear Me Roar", I painted with Dina Wakley Night paint, when this was dry I went over it with Glossy Accents for this amazing effect .

All About Me From A To Z- By Leanne Nankervis

Hi Everyone!
Leanne here to share another project with you today, using wonderful products from Memory Maze Lasercuts. Today I'm sharing a layout of my daughter Holly, a pirate theme from her school concert a couple of months ago. I have used 7 Dots and Cartabella papers, Flowers from Blossom Tree Creations and 49 Market and some embellishments from D-lish Scraps.
Layout
All About Me From A-Z

For my layout I have used the 12x12 Pirate frame, I cut away the right hand corner of the frame, I covered part of the frame with papers to match my background. I kept some of the chipboard frame in its raw state, and I used some mixed media inks to colour parts of the frame.12 x 12 Pirates theme sold individually

I used the same inks to colour my Memory Maze title to blend in with my chipboard frame.
