{Hugs}

Hey there crafty friends! Welcome back to the Memory Maze blog, thank you so much for stopping by and I hope all is well with you in your part of the world.

Today I'm sharing my new DT layout for Memory Maze, I hope you like it.

For this layout I have used 49 and Market's card stock from their 'Serendipitous' collection. I did some stenciling with white gesso to start with and it turned out really nice on this card stock. It really shows through.

I then arranged some fussy cutting elements from Uniquely Creative's 'Gums & Roses' collections and also arranged some layered embellishments from 49 & Markets' 'Eucalyptus Dreams' set.

I used a large tree chipboard from Memory Maze and also a few chipboard birds, which I used as a sort of border for my photo. I coloured the tree using some metallic paint in 'Antique Lilac' and coloured the birds with some shimmer powder in 'Plum Twist'.

For the title, I used Lindy's magical in 'Salt water taffy'. I then added some beautiful handmade flowers from Autumn Lane, which matched this layout perfectly.

And there you have it! I hope you liked my latest creation and it has inspired in some way with your own crafts.

Be sure to check out all the awesome chipboard available from Memory Maze.

I'll be back again very soon with some more crafty inspirations. Until then..happy crafting! :)

Time waits for No One - by Hetty Hall

Hi all and welcome to the Memory Maze Chipboard blog, it is Hetty with you today. I decided on a multiple photo layout this time as a lot of people seem interested in those, I think I am addicted now. So for my feature I decided in on this gorgeous clock work, isn't it amazng? I simply added some sunset paint colour to it to blend it in with the papers I used which btw are from Scrap and Me. I didn't want to cover too much of the chipboard clock so kept it to the side a bit, I think I managed to show it of in a good light. I did slightly cut it down a bit and used one of the cut offs at the bottom of my page and added the title.

Time waits for NO One

Distress tags

 Hi Team, Fiona on the blog today. I have been having a lovely time reengaging with my Tim Holtz distress inks and tags. I created a few backgrounds with multiple layers of distress inks drying between layers. I decided to try a couple of different techniques whilst I was playing. As I was making tags I used the memory maze chipboard word flags mixing up a couple by spraying over the top with water and rubbing off the top layer to add some grunge to them! These are going to look great on some presents this year and so easy to do.

I used a paint technique Tim had in his compendium books from years ago. I used the dauber top distress paints (for convenience but you could use any acrylic paint for this) on a cling stamp stamping lightly so not to smudge the image. Once dry I went over the top with walnut stain ink and the blending foam to bring out the picture.

The next technique I completed the background and then ran the tag through the 3D texture fade embossing folder. I realised I had done it up the wrong way however still happy with the effect. I then ran walnut stain ink over the top to bring out the brickwork. Th Cardinal is a limited release die no longer available sadly - all coloured with distress ink.

for the last technique, I used some tissue paper and die cuts over the top of the background spraying some of the new Kitch flamingo distress oxide spray over the top.

Items used:

Memory maze chipboard word flags

Tim Holtz distress ink - various colours

Tim Holtz 3D texture fad embossing folder

Tim Holtz die cuts

tags and imagination!

{Cute}

Hey there crafty people! Melissa A on the Memory Maze blog today with this super cute DT layout to share with you.

I have used the beautiful 'Serendipitous - Hazy Morning' card stock from 49 and Market for this layout and did some very light background stamping which I embossed with silver embossing powder.

I attached some cheese cloth under my photo, did some fussy cutting from the 'Graceful' collection from Mintay, and arranged them around my photo.

I used a cute unicorn chipboard frame from Memory Maze, which I embossed with some silver embossing powder and also used some circle chipboard borders, which I coloured using some liquid pearls in mint green.

I attached some artificial branches between the flowers, added some cute trimming and attached my title with I used some lilac embossing powder on.

I hope you liked my latest creation and it has inspired you in some way. I will be back again very soon with some more crafty inspiration for you. Until then...happy crafting! :)

Love by Hetty Hall

Good morning crafty friends and welcome back to the Memory Maze Chipboard Blog, it is Hetty with you today! For today's blog post I created a layout with hearts. I simply punched out the heart solid in the middle and used it to the side of the big heart. I painted it in a smokey grey and added a little bit of gold wax for some interest. The papers are from Scrap and Me.

Love

Believe in yourself

 Good afternoon, I have been busy playing with my sprays of all sort today along with collage paper and of course chipboard from Memory Maze. I started using Heidi Swapp colour shine in the lime as the base, with my memory maze chipboard I popped out some of the squares to make a random pattern.

 I placed the chipboard onto the middle of the page then scattered the squares around before spraying night coloured spray overtop of the chipboard to leave a shadow.

I then splattered different coloured sprays over the page and whilst it was drying I dug through the dylusions collage paper box to pick out a fun head and body to compliment the background colours.

Once the collaged person was glued down I then used the now sprayed chipboard pieces to glue around the person along with the chipboard words  - Believe in yourself! Have a great tuesday :0)
