{Unique}

Hey there crafty friends! Welcome back to the MemoryMaze blog, Melissa A here with you today and I am sharing a new steampunk/grunge style layout. I hope you like it.

For this layout I used clear gesso on the card stock before doing some background stenciling using some black ink and Lindy's moonshadow mist (see product list below).

I ripped some various papers to use as photo matting to which I then distressed and inked the edges using black ink.

I fussy cut some images from 13Arts 'Victoriana' collection and arranged them around my image.

I cut the floral chipboard frame in half and heat foiled it with some black foil. I then attached it using mounting tape slightly off centre to eachother.

I used gilding flakes on the fancy border chipboard and copper embossing powder on the title.

I added some Autumn Lane flowers to match the colour scheme of the layout and added some glitter paint to some of them for some sparkle.

To finish off this layout I sprinkled some art stones as well as some gold micro beads around the page. I also attached some bling to the black foiled frame and attached some metal keys.

I really hope you found some inspiration from this layout. I will be back with some more crafty inspiration very soon. Until then...happy scrapping! :)

Original - Hetty Hall

Hey there everyone, thanks for popping in! Today I would like to share with you a masculin layout with lots of mechanicals, cogs, taps, pipes etc. I embossed these with some copper embossing powder to match the background paper which is from the Gentleman's Journey from 3Quarter Designs. I also added some 49 and Market flowers as well as some Tim Holtz rub ons. I layered everthing around my photo as you will see in the close up photos.

{Dwell in Possibility]

Hey there crafty friends! Welcome back to the Memory Maze blog - Melissa A with you today and I am sharing a new male layout. I hope you like it.

For the background of this layout I did some brick stenciling using black gesso and sprinkled some tarnished brass coloured glitter over the top of it while it was still wet.

I fussy cut Mintay's 'Wilderness' ephemera and arranged them around my photo. I used mounting tape on some of them when attaching, for some dimension.

I used inks to colour the chipboard fence and title and used embossing powder on the wire fence chipboard.

I attached some handmade flowers from Autumn Lane and tucked some artificial stem pieces between them to finish off.

I hope you liked my latest layout and drew some inspiration from it.

I will be back again very soon with some more crafty inspiration. Until then...happy crafting! :)

{Simplicity}

Hey there crafty friends! Welcome back to the Memory Maze blog - Melissa A with you today sharing my new pastel coloured DT layout. Thank you for looking, I hope you like it.

For this layout I have used the 3Quarter Designs 'Beach House' card stock and fussy cut images from the Mintay 'Suntastic' collection.

I cut out some rectangles in the card stock and attached some trimming to some light pink card stock and attached that behind the main piece of card stock.

I arranged and attached some fussy cut images around my photo, using mounting tape on some of them for added dimension.

I foiled some chipboard shapes that I used as photo matts and also heat embossed some chipboard flourishes that I attached in between some flowers.

I then attached some Autumn Lane flowers around my photo.

To finish off, I added some glitter paint to some of the flowers, for some extra sparkle and attached an embossed title.

I hope you liked this fun, light coloured layout. I will be back with some more crafty inspiration very soon. Until then...happy crafting! :)

Sweet, Sassy and Adorable - Hetty Hall

Hey everyone and welcome back to the Memory Maze Chipboard blog, it is Hetty with you today.
Sharing a sweet layout using this gorgeous clock face which I simple covered in heavy white Gesso and sprinkled on some glitter embossing powder although the glitter and shine unfortunately doesn't really show up in the photos. The sentiment was covered in some purple embossing powder, so cute!! I used the stunning Tranquility papers from Uniquely Creative Kit Club to finish this layout

{Little girls are magic all on their own}

Hello everyone! Welcome back to the Memory Maze blog - Melissa A here with you today sharing a pretty blue layout with you. I hope you like it.

So to start off this layout, I did some background stenciling using a butterfly stencil with some green ink.

I then cut a circular butterfly frame in half and heat embossed it with some 'Shabby Blue' embossing powder. I also embossed the smaller circle chipboard pieces with 'Aged Silver' embossing powder.

I used some ephemera pieces from the 3Quarter Designs 'Whispered Memories' collection and attached them behind and around my photo.

I used a circular metal die to cut my photo and also some photo matts and I attached some trimming around my photo as well for something different.

Lastly, I attached some pretty Autumn Lane flowers around my photo and I used some cream coloured paint to colour my title before attaching it to my layout.

Thank you for looking, I hope you found some inspiration from this layout and I will be back with some more crafty inspiration for you again very soon. Until then...Happy Crafting :)
