Amanda Lawrence - November Part 2

Hi all! I'm back with some more layouts to share with you all this month. With Christmas less than a month away, it's really time to get last years pics scrapped if you haven't already. There are so many photos taken on Christmas Day it can be a bit overwhelming to work out just what to do with them all. They don't need to be traditional Christmas style colours or chipboard to showcase them, in fact none of mine is Christmas specific but it worked perfectly with my photos as you will soon see.

Fairy Princess

I bought my daughter this cute Christmas Fairy costume to wear to my sons Christmas concert at school. I got a quick snapshot of her playing with the tree before we left. Our tree was decorated in aqua blue and lime, and with her red dress I needed to make the colour scheme suit.

I used the Fairy Princess chipboard title which I coloured with watercolour paints and then added a layer of rock candy stickles. I finished off with a few adhesive rhinestones on the stars for some added sparkle.

I framed the photo with the vintage circle frame which was simply given a coat of gesso. This was mounted on the picket fence panels to give dimension. The fence panels are coloured with some chalk ink.

I just couldn't bear to part with the teeny tiny stars that popped out of the title. There were only two but by gently separating the layers of chipboard with my fingernails I was able to double that to four! These were also given a coat of chalk ink to match the fence.

The Cousins Together for Christmas

This layout is traditional looking but I didn't use any Christmas chipboard. It's a photo of all the cousins together on Christmas Day.

I used the 'Cousins' title and also a mini script word 'together' to make up my title for the page. I framed the title using one of the smaller frames from the Pinked Edge Circle pack.

One of the larger frames from the same pack was perfect for surrounding my photo. This was also the space where I added my main embellishment cluster.

Thanks for popping in and be sure to check back often. The design team have plenty more inspiration to get those Christmas photos scrapped!
