Wooden Veneer brooch cards with Sarah

Hello crafty friends, Sarah here with another brooch card special, this time using some of the wooden veneer pieces from Memory Maze Lasercuts.

These wooden pieces are so versatile - great for cards, scrapbook layouts and my love of brooches! It's good to remember that almost any of the chipboard pieces on the website can also be cut in wood.
Let's jump right in to it...this first one is a 3x3 inch card with a gorgeous cupcake on it. This cupcake is also available in this same design in a yellow acrylic.

The next card is using a the gorgeous swirly owl. In fact for those owl lovers out there, Memory Maze has a wide variety of owl die cuts. They can be viewed online here.

As you can see in this photo, the deer head (as per my last blog post) is also featured.

The next one is the skull bulb - isnt this so cool?

There are many more designs and examples of brooch cards I have....may share some more later if you'd like to see them? Be sure to leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts....until next time!

Always and Forever- By Leanne Nankervis

Hi Everyone!
Leanne back to share some more projects with you today, using chipboard products from Memory Maze Lasercuts.

Always and Forever
Today I sharing a mixed media board I did over Christmas, using lots of Memory Maze chipboard. Some lovely metallic paints from Finnabair, along with her waxes, and some magical shakers from Lindys. The photo is of me and my dear friends Bronny and Toni, from our friends photo shoot we did last year together.

Firstly I used chipboard as my base, I used the Butterfly flourish, along with some of the chipboard daises and leaves. I adhered my photo in behind my chipboard frame, added some metal embellishments as well, I then painted the whole piece with black gesso. Once it was dry I used Finnabair metallic paints, and some mica powders and some magical shakers from Lindys.

Once I got the desired affect I added my flowers and some bling, I highlighted my metals and chipboard with Finnabairs waxes.

Acrylic brooches with Sarah

Hello crafty friends, Sarah here with my first blog post on the Memory Maze Lasercuts design team. I am excited to show you some of the brooches cards I have been making and first up is ones using some of the amazing acrylic pieces from the online store.

The deer heads come in many of different acrylic colours as seen in the photo above. As pictured, there is red, dark blue, purple and a wooden veneer one also. There is some new acrylic colours coming to Memory Maze Lasercuts, so stay tuned for those also. They can be purchased in packs of 5 and are online here.

Memory Maze makes it easy for the creation of these brooches, offering packs of brooch pins in packs of ten. This is a cost effective way of buying in bulk. Check them out online here.

The stamp used with these cards is the new "You're deer to me" stamp available here. There are many new stamps that have arrived, so stay tuned for a blog post about this coming up soon!

Some of my other favorite acrylic pieces are the pussy cat and the unicorn. Here are some brooch cards I have made with them using a variety of stamps from my stash.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my brooch cards (some may say I am crazy for them!) and stay tuned for future posts where I share some made with the Memory Maze Lasercuts wooden veneer pieces.

Can be used for both Scrap booking and Card Making.
These are available in a variety of shapes and styles.

Flourish Circle frames 290 x 200 mm
I broke these apart and colored with a white ink pad and used the pieces as embellishments in the corners of the pages.

Bright and Fun

Splashes of colour

Hi Everybody, I am starting the year off with a bright layout.
My beautiful niece loves colour so I thought it would suit her photo.

The background is done with high colour embossing powders from Ranger (Wendy Vecche).
I used the clear embossing dauber as the splatz medium and sprinkled on the embossing powders and heat set them. One colour at a time to keep them separate.

I have used a wonderful title from Memory maze
B
Fearlessly
Authentic

and one of the smaller words packs for the word
Sparkle

Memory maze have frames galore but I used this one

All chipoboard was painted with Alchemy metallique Paints.

Thanks for looking

Our Story-by Leanne Nankervis

Hi Everyone!

Leanne here to share with you today, Well its a New Year with new projects to share using Memory Maze products.

Our Story

Today I'm sharing a layout using some of the new Memory Maze design products, I created a background using some Dylusion paints, along with some stamping and layering. I primed my chipboard with gesso, then watered down my dylusion paints to colour my chipboard pieces. My photo is of my family, we had a family photo shoot late last year in the Botanical Gardens.

Double heart frame with feathers, I painted main frame white then used watered down Dylusion paints on my feathers, I added detail to the feathers with a fine sharpie marker, then added some art ingredient beads for decoration.

Our Story Title I painted white then used the same technique for the feathers then added some gelato's to deepen the colours.

etc...
