Hello crafty friends, I have a fun project for you today using alcohol inks to make cards with the gorgeous chipboard sentiments from Memory Maze.
I pulled out some Ranger gloss paper and some of my alcohol inks. This was the first time I have used them (been meaning to for some time) and thought I'd give it a go. There is a short video on my Facebook Page if you'd like to see all the background pages I made. Here are the cards I made with two sheets today;
The colours of the Ranger - Tim Holtz inks I used were Dandelion, Mermaid, Wild Plum and Sunset Orange. Some of the pieces I loved and some not so much. I amy even add some paint to them to make other backgrounds for my scrapbook layouts of planner pages.
I painted the chipboard sentiments simply in black or white to ensure the coloured background really was the focus. I trimmed the background paper to size and adhered them on to the card backgrounds. I made some little Christmas gift cards - perfect for teacher gifts, coaches, colleagues etc. I also made a couple of other sentiments - Best Wishes, Just for You and Thankyou. All chipboard sentiments can be found online here. Let's take a look at the cards;
I just love the vibrancy of the colours and how they turned out. Hope you enjoyed this project. If you are interested in any of the Memory Maze products, be sure to contact your local craft store or Memory Maze for your local stockist where we can place our local sales reps in contact with them.

Australian Christmas brooch cards with Sarah
Hello crafty friends, Sarah here today with some of the new Australian themed Christmas designs from Memory Maze lasercuts.
For these new designs, please check out the Memory Maze website here. Let's take a look at the other designs created using these wooden veneer pieces.
These cards are easy to put together. Simply adhere a brooch pin to the back of the wood piece. You want to ensure this is totally dry before attempting to pin this to the card.
Position the piece on your card front and pierce two small holes in the card to pass the brooch pin through. Position and stamp your sentiment - I like to use my MISTI (check this out on you tube if you havent seen them!) to ensure accurate stamping every time. Then pin the dried piece to your card and you're done! Let's take a closer look at the other two designs. The crocodile card is on a Kraft background. For these cards I have used stamps from my stash, however Memory Maze also have a vast range of rubber stamps that are also available. Take a look back through my previous blog posts for some examples of these. They can be found online here. If you are interested in any of the Memory Maze products, be sure to contact your local craft store or Memory Maze for your local stockist where we can place our local sales reps in contact with them.

Merry Christmas....card making in a breeze
Hello crafty friends, Sarah here today to show you just some of the Memory Maze sentiments that are perfect for your cards.
Alot of stores are now getting in their Christmas stock and are starting to think about the upcoming release of Christmas collections. The card pictured above was a recent project I made for the Scrapping Fun Kits design team's August kit, using a chipboard sentiment from Memory Maze. What I loved most about this is that the chipboard already comes coloured! Simple and easy!
The chipboard 'Merry Christmas' pictured here comes in either the red or green card and is ready to go for the mountain of Christmas cards you need to make! Alternatively, Memory Maze also has a huge variety of plain chipboard sentiments that you can colour, ink, paint or leave neutral also. Here are just a few styles;
Did you know that Memory Maze also have sentiment sets and mini words available. These make card making a breeze. Here is a few of them, but please be sure to check out the website by clicking here to check the range out.
