Amazing by Suzanne Franin

Hey Everyone Suzanne here

My turn on the Memory Maze Blog
Remember to check out the rest of the Design Teams work for some inspiration
And ask your local or online store to order in the Memory Maze products you see that you really MUST have - they have new stock all the time so make sure you check out the site yourself

This photo is just is just beautiful and speaks volumes
This is my cousin's husband - Kadex
He's Balinese and as you can see a very calm person they look like they really have a connection

I kept the page simple because the photo says it all

I used clear gesso on the paper first to prep it for any mixed media products I may use on it

I used the Flower Stencil with some 3D Matte Gel on the background paper just for some dimension

Then with all the chipboard  Hearts a pair and Moments Like These I used some Colour Blast Colour Embossing Powder in Sienna - I picked up the colour on the Elephants trunk

I used some Finnabair Mechanicals they look like lotus flowers

Enjoy the Moment by Suzanne Franin

Hey Everyone my turn on the Memory Maze blog today
Make sure you check out the Memory Maze Store and check out what's new this week and see the blog for what the team have been up too
We also have an Instagram account so make sure if your in Insta you go add us memorymazelaser

and I'm slowly working my way through my daughter's wedding photos
There's no hurry as they don't want an album so I'm doing what I want with the photos that I love the most

The girls did their own hair and make up which turned out beautiful

This is what the Heart with Wire Insert looks like except with all the hexagons in it

I sat and glued all the hexagons onto a piece of cardstock with the outer edge but not the full frame

Once everything was glued down and dry I added Colour Blast Heavy White Gesso over the whole thing - I did a couple of coats to make sure I got into all the grooves

Then as you can see above I used the Colour Blast Colour Spray LOVE painting into the grooves as steadily as possible but as you can see that didn't quite happen I went over the edges a bit but it added to it I think

Then I used some Journaling Cards from the Prima range Midnight Garden (it's so pretty) and a couple of flowers from the Ephemera pack

On the Words Fancy - Smile and the Enjoy the Moment I rubbed some Finnabair Metallique Wax in the Brushed Iron to add a contrast colour

Then on the Prima Junk Yard Findings Globe I painted the back with some Finnabair Mettalique Acrylic Paint in Red Wine which suited the flowers in her hair and is a very similar colour to the Bridesmaids skirts
Then I randomly placed different sized white flowers around the project

Thank you for visiting I hope you come back soon x

Christmas Star by Suzanne Franin

Hey Everyone Suzanne here

Merry Christmas I hope you get everything you dream of from Santa and share the love with everyone

Today on the Memory Maze Blog I'm sharing a Christmas project of a special little girl who I did the same sort of photo last year so this year instead of round we have gone for a star

With the lid of the tin I used Finnabair's Poppy Red Impasto so I didn't need to prime it
I used a sponge with the paint and it gave a nice stippled affect
I also did the same with the back
Once it was dry I added some Art Alchemy Wax in Old Silver around the edge of the lid and all of the chipboard embellishments

Here is a close up of the Silver Acrylic Deer Head it has sparkle through the acrylic it's so pretty and my little friend in the photo has a deer on her top

I needed something to flow up the side and the Lush Flourish was perfect
I also added a transparent heart, a flat pearl bead onto a metal piece
Underneath you can see a star from Charms Creations it's so pretty it has glitter in the material

The Wings I added to a paper clay clock that mum did for me
along with a few other paper clay pieces that are scattered around the star
I also used some small white flowers and some art pebbles which got covered with the Art Alchemy Wax as well

I love these Bling Tutu Flowers they are so pretty and the red worked perfect for this project
they also come in a few other colours so make sure to check out the site and get your local store to get them in

Here you can see I cut the Double Heart Vintage Frame in half and used it in two places

Here I used the LOVE from the So Rad Authentic Words set of words it just fit so nice

Best Buddies by Suzanne Franin

Hey Everyone Suzanne here

My project this week for the Blog is a layout of a photo from my son's 18th Birthday Party
These are his close mates that he's gone to school with
Two from Primary School and the other was from High School which they all went too
Don't forget to check out the rest of the Blog for the latest updates and creations from the other Design Team Members
And remember to visit the Memory Maze Website to see the huge rage of products we have so you can get your favourite store to stock the product or if they already do get that something special you really love in

I started of by using the  Lots of Squares Stencil with the Finnabair Graphite Texture Paste

I raised the photo up with some cardboard and glued it with the Helmar Acid free glue the rest of the chipboard I used the Helmar Tacky Craft Glue
On the Best Buddies I used Finnabair Metallique Wax in Old Silver but then went over it with Fire Ruby because the words didn't stand out enough

On all the Cogs and Pulleys12 x 12 All there is is Cogs for everything and the Clock Face I used the Finnabair Metallique Old Silver Wax
I love how silver it is the chipboard actually looks like metal
