You are my Sunshine by Hetty Hall

Good morning Crafty Peeps and welcome to the Memory Maze Chipboard Blog, it is Hetty with you today. For today's blog post I have created a layout with several pieces of Memory Maze Chippies.

You are my Sunshine

To keep the layout looking uniform I embossed all the chipboard pieces in white embossing powder. I love using white as this really makes them stand out especially when you use busy background paper.

I started by breaking up my honey comb chipboard panel into bits and pieces as I wanted it to look random. On top of that I layered my gorgeous chipboard tag and added my photo. I then added the frame to my photo for many gorgeous layers. I added the cute sentiment to the left of the layout to balance everything out.

I have used the following chipboard elements:

Honeycomb

Vintage Frame

Chipboard Tag NO 12

Sentiment (You are my Sunshine)

Don't forget to check out the rest of the Memory Maze store for more great chipboard.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs

Hetty

Amazing by Suzanne Franin

Hey Everyone Suzanne here

My turn on the Memory Maze Blog
Remember to check out the rest of the Design Teams work for some inspiration
And ask your local or online store to order in the Memory Maze products you see that you really MUST have - they have new stock all the time so make sure you check out the site yourself

This photo is just is just beautiful and speaks volumes
This is my cousin's husband - Kadex
He's Balinese and as you can see a very calm person they look like they really have a connection

I kept the page simple because the photo says it all

I used clear gesso on the paper first to prep it for any mixed media products I may use on it

I used the Flower Stencil with some 3D Matte Gel on the background paper just for some dimension

Then with all the chipboard  Hearts a pair and Moments Like These I used some Colour Blast Colour Embossing Powder in Sienna - I picked up the colour on the Elephants trunk

I used some Finnabair Mechanicals they look like lotus flowers

Unicorn Love by Suzanne Franin

Hey Everyone Suzanne here

I have a couple of friends that love unicorns but one in particular who saw this picture and loved it so I HAD to make her something with it
So for my Memory Maze project this week this was created for her

Don't forget to check out the rest of the blog for any of the latest products or news or just have a look around at some of the awesome Design Team work for inspiration

Because the photo is so colourful I wanted the background to be neutral and simple but still have texture

So I started off by using texture paste through the Mini Divided Heart Stencil once each layer dried I went over it again for extra height

I then used clear gesso over the top of them and made sure I carefully pushed into the divided lines of the heart

I stamped archival in with the Vintage Baroque Stamp randomly over the canvas but because there are so many raised areas it didn't show up very well

On the word Unicorn I used Colour Embossing Powder in Snow White which showed up silvery because I painted the all the embellishments in black gesso

Here I spray Colour Shimmer Spray in Dusty Charcoal to enhance the grooves in the hearts

I used the Unicorn from the Set that has a few different sizes, the word and some stars in it
With the medium Unicorn I used Colour Embossing Powder in Bling
I also used it on the arrow

I used the Unicorn Acrylic White and the Double Heart Vintage Frame which I also used the bling Colour Embossing Powder raising two of the corners up using the Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots it's great for having height without having to use white dots that you can see

Here I filled the glass bottle with little beads I have a heap of and used a flair button from Flutterby Designs

One by Suzanne Franin

Hey Everyone Suzanne here

My project this week was centred around this frame I found at an Op Shop I love looking for different things this time I found some more frames
It had no back to it just the frame and I knew I had this photo at home of my daughter and son in law from their wedding
I just love it, she was really upset after dancing with her father (she's a very shy person and was very embarrassed having everyone watch her dance) so when she finally got to dance with Dave he had to calm her down and the photographer caught him kiss her on the top of the head it's so beautiful

I have a YouTube video of the process so please make sure you take a look and subscribe to my channel

I attached the frame to a canvas with some Helmar Super-Tac Glue

I then covered the canvas and frame with white gesso (the frame was painted white but not very well you could see it had been silver underneath)

On the canvas I used the Door Wire Stencil this is one of my favourite patterns and I used it with some Colour Paste Snow White I love how it has the shimmer to it

Here you can see the shimmer of the Colour Paste Snow White

I used silver leaf on one of the Flourish's from the 12 x 12 Flourish Corner Set just for a pop as well as little bits on around the frame

This quote was on the Program that was handed out at the wedding and I thought it was perfect for this photo (well I could probably use it for a lot of the photos that were taken on the day)
I had a paper clay scroll and I used some silver leaf on that too

I had bought this Pearl and Bling pendant and was waiting to use it on something special
You know how you hang onto things just incase (well I do) well this was perfect for this project
I love metal and have a huge stash of bits and pieces and thought this double heart would go nice on the corner of the frame just right

I used some sheer material on the background which looks like bridal veil material just to add another  texture and layer

And as always I added some little white flowers but before I put them in the frame I used some Colour Embossing Powder Snow White It's so pretty it has bits of bling in it ( the only bad bit is it gets everywhere so I have sparkles all over the place)
I used another of my metal piece LOVE cause thats what these two have for each other nothing but love and it showed even more on the day
Around inner edge of the frame I rubbed some Inka-Gold Silver to tie the silver leaf

Well that's it for me I hope you enjoyed my project

Thanks for visiting and I hope you will be back soon x

Sweet & Sassy by Suzanne Franin

Hey Everyone Suzanne here

My turn on the Blog today
With this layout that was inspired by these two little cuties
(my son in laws niece's)
They are such gorgeous girls

Make sure you check out the our Facebook page for what's happening with the Design Team and be able to keep up to date with the latest products

I used the Swirl Stencil on the background using parts of it twice on the page under where I put the photo

I then sprinkled some Lindys Alpine Ice Rose Magical Shaker over the background spraying water as I go until I'm happy with the colour and the amount of where the colour got into the grooves of the stencil

I then stamped with a background stamp into some versa mark ink then I used some Butter Zing Embossing Powder over the background and over the title

I did two coats of the embossing powder on the Sweet & Sassy Chipboard title to make sure it had a good cover

I then added a yellow doily I had in my stash and lots of little flowers

I've had these metal clips forever and the colour was perfect and just added that little extra something the layout needed on that side

Then I added lots of little glass pebble rocks all over the page for that little extra dimension and thats it
