Hi everyone 

This project was inspired by the beautiful Time Just Flies Frame it's so pretty and so easy to do a lot too

I painted it blue to match the blue in the dress then used crackle paste over the top once that was dry I added some Tweedle Dee Denim magical over part of it

I used the Wire Door Stencil it is such a great design

I sprinkled some White Micro Fine Glitter over the butterflies to give them some sparkle

I added so embellishments to add some more texture

12x12 Layout .... by Lynn Good

Hi everyone, Lynn here to share a layout that I have created using lots of colour!  

I have used alot of Lindy Stamp Gang colours together with Tattered Angels Chalkboard Paints.  I have listed all the products used at the bottom of the blog.

I coated all the chipboard with white gesso and then embossed with Lindy Stamp Gang embossing powder,

I embossed the artist pallet and then used Liquid Pearls and Stickles to create colour pots

I used 3D gloss gel through a stencil before applying any colour to my layout.

I randomly stamped around the layout with a kaisercraft clear stamp and then embossed with Ranger Black Embossing Powder.

This photo is of my daughter Tracy catching her first Barra for the year.
She is in her element, loves her fishing.

I have used the Kaisercraft Sail Away collection.

As well as a camera and twigs chippies. Coloured them with some ink

let them dry and cover them with some dimensional magic.

Memory Maze

Happy 90th- By Leanne Nankervis

Leanne here to share another project with you today, using Memory Maze chipboard products.
 

Happy 90th Birthday

Well today I'm sharing with you a card I created for my Grandmother, who is celebrating her 90th Birthday this month.

I used the Happy Birthday title and Enjoy the moment title from the cards sentiment pack.
I painted them both in gold acrylic paint, then dipped then in embossed them with gold glitter.

 

 

 

 

I used the numbers from the alphabet sheet and painted these also with gold acrylic paint, then embossed them in the gold glitter to match the chipboard titles.

I also made a matching envelope to match my card again using the alphabet numbers painted and embossed.

Canvas ... by Lynn Good

Hi everyone, well it is the last day of April and the colder weather is going to set in here in Tasmania - which I love - more crafting time and less outdoor gardening!!!

Today I have created a canvas for you.  This depicts a heart closed in, embraced  and restrained by elements.  I have used my favourite colour - purple and green as an earth tone.

I started by placing selected items onto the canvas panel.  I have used assorted buttons, metal pieces, flowers, art stones, mini art stones, Prima Resin heart, Prima Diamond Stones, cardboard and Memory Maze Chipboard pieces.  I have shown the chipboard pieces used below with a link to the store.

I adhered them with 3D Matte gel.  Once dried I gave everything a coat of black gesso.  I didnt placed the Prima Diamond Stones onto the piece until last.

Once the two coats of black gesso were dry, I coloured some white Prima wire with Dylusions Spray Ink - black marble and wrapped it around the canvas panel.

I began with my colours.  I have used the following colours:

 Prima Mica Powder - Lilac Opal Magic, Green and Gold.

Prima Acrylic Paint Sparks - Dragons Eye, Iris Potion and Raven Black.

Dylusions Spray Ink - Black Marble

White Gesso

Art Alchemy Metallique Wax - Vintage Gold

I just kept layering the colours, drying in between and layering some more until I was happy with the result.

I have then sprayed the canvas panel in areas where I wanted to sprinkle glitter with a spray fixitive and added Finnabair glitter.

Hi there Suzanne here

I was inspired by this quote and the deck chair seemed perfect for this project I could see myself sitting outside at night looking up at the stars

I used black gesso for the background and around the saying to blend it in

I added some Lindy's Magicals to the background and I used Pewter Liquid Drops for the stars

After I painted the chair silver I used Buttercup Liquid Drops to give it some texture

I used the Deck Chair from the Memory Memory Maze Store

'All Boy' Mixed Media layout by Elisa Ablett

Hi everyone, 

It's my turn up on the Memory Maze blog today with a grungy boy layout featuring some awesome grunge arrows, tag frame and circle title and dot stencil.

Here are some close ups of the finer details!

I painted the chipboard pieces with the same lovely metallic paint as the background and included a little black here and there to match the black circles.

I also used a graduating dot stencil from Memory Maze with black texture paste to create texture over the top of metallic paint.
