I Am my own Muse.

 I AM MY OWN MUSE

I have used an 8x10 canvas, the background was done using Dina Wakley paints & my fingers to blend the colours into each other. I then used Memory Maze stencil 'SPOTS' & a baby wipe to take off some colour, the images are from Lorri Lennox's Dynamic pack. With pieces of tissue from my stash to add iterest in the background.

Accept who you are - Scrapbook Layout

Hey there! Melissa A with you today sharing a new male style scrapbook layout created for Memory Maze, using lots of their awesome chipboard.

I have used 3Quarter Designs 'About Him' card stock for this layout as well as cuttables from Memory Maze.

I did some background stenciling with black gesso and heat embossed the chipboard pieces.

I then added some Autumn Lane flowers. Some people will say flowers don't belong on a male layout, but that's the beauty of this craft - there is no right or wrong way of doing things. If you want to add flowers to a male layout, then go right ahead because I think it still looks masculine even with the flowers.

And there you have it. I hope you liked it and found some inspiration from it.

I will be back again with some more crafty inspiration very soon. Until then...happy crafting!

It's the little things - Scrapbook Layout

Hey there crafty people! Welcome back to the Memory Maze blog, Melissa A with you today sharing a new scrapbook layout.

I have used the 'Serene Moments' collection from 3Quarter Designs for this layout. I cut and attached the large tags behind my photo and attached some of the fussy cut images from the collection around my photo, using mounting tape on some of them for added dimension.

I heat foiled the chipboard flourishes, heat embossed the chipboard chain frame and gates and used stickles on my chipboard title.

I attached some flowers to my layout and then sprinkled some red micro beads over and around them.

I hope you liked my latest creation for Memory Maze. I will be back again very soon with some more crafty inspiration.
