Happiness by Suzanne Franin

Hey Everyone

This week on the Memory Maze Blog I created a canvas using this quote for a friend to remember to be happy for herself and not let people get to her and cause her the pain and stress

I used Memory Maze Door Wire Stencil with some Little Birdie Embossing Paste which I got from Random Arts
It's so fun to use, it goes on like a thin paste then when you heat it,
it puffs - the more heat the more puff it's so much fun and worked excellent with Door Wire Stencil

I then painted it with Finnabair's Metallique Soft Satin Paint
I went over the whole canvas with Finnabair's Opal Magic Vintage Silk Wax for an added dimension and to lighten the colour a little

I then painted the Lace Scalloped Nested Circles clear gesso then with Finnabair's Metallique White Pearl Paint for a nice shimmer

I then used some Cocoa Vanilla pieces from the Die Cut Ephemera pack and some Mermaid Balls scattered around

Heart Canvas-By Leanne Nankervis

Hi Everyone!
Leanne here to share another project with you today, using products from Memory Maze Lasercuts.
Today I'm sharing a mixed media canvas, using loads of chipboard from Memory Maze, along with Prima bloom sprays, Finnabair  metallic paints, waxes, sparks paints, pastes, metal embellishments and resins.

Mixed Media Heart Canvas

I started by prepping my canvas with a stencil and modelling paste, then a coat of black gesso, I then glued down all my chipboard pieces and art stones, and painted them all over with black gesso. Once my project was dried I used my Prima bloom sprays, once dried I started layering with my metallic paints from Finnabair, until I was happy with the result.  I added some sparks paints to highlight my pieces with some waxes, along with my fantasy pastes. I used a black gelato around the outside of my canvas, to give a bit of depth and bring it all together.

Wandering by Suzanne Franin

Hey Everyone Suzanne here

This time on the Memory Maze blog I created a layout with a photo my son in law took of my daughter at the beach
I love the way he captured her just wandering along

Make sure to check out the Memory Maze Store because we do custom orders as well

I didn't do a lot to this page as I wanted the photo to stand out

I used the River Pebbles Stencil with sand mixed with 3D Matte Gel
It has great texture and dimension

The Circle Mandala Chipboard I painted with Finnabair Art Alchemy Paint Sparks Unicorn Hair and I brushed a little bit of the paint over the sand for a little shimmer
I used a mould from Prima for the scrolls then used two of the Art Alchemy waxes in the new colours - Old Denim and Blue Lagoon
I feel like they look a bit like waves and the blue adds some extra colour to the neutral colours of the layout

The quote seemed appropriate for the photo and is from one of Tim Holtz's sticker books
I used Platinum glass glitter for a bit of extra bling
