Hello crafty friends, this week we showcase some beautiful class projects from one of our retailers in Victoria - Scrap 2 Relax in Drouin, Victoria. Thankyou to this store for sharing some of their class projects using Memory Maze chipboard products.

The layout pictured below is from a class offered in 2017 and the photo above from a class being offered in February 2018 in store at Scrap 2 Relax. The chipboard words used on these projects are part of the mini words and embellishment range from Memory Maze. They can be found online here. Chipboard is such a verastile material that can be inked, painted, embossed, gold foiled etc. Here is another off the page project from Scrap 2 Relax that shows chipboard words and embellishments.

Documenting December with Memory Maze & Scrapping Fun Kits with Sarah

Hello crafty friends, Sarah here with you today with a few 6x8 inch scrapbook layouts I completed for another design team who uses the wonderful Memory Maze chipboard products.
I always enjoy highlighting collaborations between companies and as a design team member for both Memory Maze and Scrapping Fun Kits, this is a great way to showcase the amazing chipboard along side amazing product. Scrapping Fun Kits have a monthly embellishment kit, a Travellers Notebook kit and often some speciality stand alone kits and is a big fan of Memory Maze. Creating for both of them is a dream come true!

The two layouts shown here today were created using the November and December Scrapping Fun embellishment kits. The first one is the chipboard piece 'Just kickin back'. This can be found on the Memory Maze website here.

I love the look of raw chipboard so left it this way for this layout. It was perfect for these relaxed shots of my little one lounging in the sun on our verandah. As you can see in the layout, there is a number on the page. I had completed these pages for my Documenting December album. The numbers and other embellishments were from Scrapping Fun Kits.

This second layout was also a page from my Documenting December album, this time using the specially designed piece 'Christmas is about Family'. Memory Maze pride themselves on their unique and custom designs. I inked this chipboard piece with black ink and clear embossed it. For the last layout from my Documenting December, a simple one with the chipboard piece being the focus of the page.
This piece can be found on the Memory Maze site here. I hope you enjoyed this post and be sure to subscribe to Scrapping Fun Kits over on their blog here. If you are interested in any of the Memory Maze products, be sure to contact your local craft store or Memory Maze for your local stockist where we can place our local sales reps in contact with them.

Super Star-by Leanne Nankervis

Hi Everyone!
Leanne back to share another project with you today, using products from Memory Maze Laser Cuts.

Super Star

Today I'm sharing a layout I did of my daughter Alannah, from one of her in house competitions for Gymnastics last year. This photo was of her floor routine, she did really well taking out a few medals and ribbons, for the days events.

I created my background with some watercolours, stencils and stamping.

My super star title I painted black and used a white Gelato on the outline of the word, I put some glitter cardstock behind the star and added some beads.

My star border at the top and bottom of my page, I painted with oil pastels and added some bling, flowers and beads.

Close up of star border.

Australia Day mixed media tag with Sarah

Hello crafty friends, Sarah here with a mixed media tag, this time using the new Australia Day acrylic piece and Outback Australia rubber stamp from Memory Maze Lasercuts.
For this mixed media tag, i got out my 3x5 inch gelli plate to create the background. There are many great tutorials for gelli printing, be sure to google this or search via youtube. The background was created using Dylusions paints with stencils and stamped on to the tag using the gelli plate as the stamping platform. If you'd like to see more of how this was created, leave me a comment below and I can put something together to demonstrate this technique.

I used the new Outback Australia stamp from Memory Maze with black Staz On ink to create texture on the background. I like the versatility of this stamp on this background - you can see parts of the flag, parts of the windmill etc to give a real Australian feel to it.
The photos printed for this tag were from the Australia Day BBQ we had at our house - the mega water fight scene and an Australia flag tattoo my young son wore that afternoon. It was fun to print them in a smaller size, perfect for this tag.

The Map of Australia acrylic piece is just spectacular! The black acrylic highlights the edges of the Australia map, whilst the little kangaroo cut out component allows the background work to peek through.
The wooden veneer range of options for embellishing your products from Memory Maze is enormous. Click here for the range of chipboard and wood veneer pieces. The piece used on this tag was from my stash, but it's not hard to find one that suits your needs online at Memory Maze.

The range of these products can be found online at www.memorymaze.com.au. If you are interested in any of the Memory Maze products, be sure to contact your local craft store or Memory Maze for your local stockist where we can place our local sales reps in contact with them.

I used several pieces from the film strip set, I cut up some of the film strip into pieces and painted them with black distress paint. I highlighted some of the camera pieces detail with a white gel pen.

My love arrow word title I painted with Pistachio distress paint.

I arranged a flower cluster around my cut pieces of film strip.

Basketball Life by Suzanne

Hi Everyone

Just  finished a blog and I'd used some awesome Memory Maze chipboard on this project so I thought I'd add it to the blog so everyone could see what I'd been up too

I created this canvas with a camera and a picture frame attached for an application to the Lindy's Stamp Gang Design Team a little while back and I've only just gotten around to adding it to my blog

The chipboard I used was Attitude in a circle and Square Mesh Grunge

This photo of my son was taken by a friend at our local basketball courts
Jack eat, sleeps and lives for his basketball

I started off with an old camera that was going in the bin of course I had to save it
I glued lots of different paper clay shapes over the camera then gessoed the whole thing
The frame was given to me in a box of mixed frames that someone was getting rid of I painted that with black gesso
The canvas was one I had done a SHE ART project on, it was sitting in the cupboard collecting dust so this project
is made up of recycled stuff

I started off with an old camera that was going in the bin of course I had to save it
I glued lots of different paper clay shapes over the camera then gessoed the whole thing

I used -  red hot poker orange and cattail copper brown from the Autumn Leaves Settweedle dee denim from the Mad Hatter Setbachelor button blue from the Prairie Wildflower Setsteampunk sepia and steel shimmer from the Industrial Chic Set and the clam bake beige from the Nantucket Pearls Set on the camera, all the embellishments and the background of the canvas
I wanted to have some string to my canvas so I added some water to the string then used the steel shimmer from the Industrial Chic Set to cover it completely then set it aside to dry
As you can see I used lots of different products from metal to chipboard  from Memory Maze and the Magical's show up awesome on all
different textures and mediums
I love how it went into the cracks that I created with some crackle paste
The canvas also had lace and other bits already glued down so when I sprayed the powders they spread so nicely into all the
crevasses and show up all the details

I also used Bavarian Blue Embossing Powder on the frame and the camera
On the camera I sprinkled the powder onto the wet gesso, it gives it a more mottled look
On the frame I used some versamark and a texture stamp so there was a bit of dimension to it

Thank you for visiting and I hope you will be back soon xxx
