Family is the Best - layout by Lynn Good

Hi everyone,

Lynn here today to share a 12x12 layout that I have created.

To create my background I have cut some round 1"circles from the 7 dots Hazy days paper collection and placed them around the layout where my photo will be.  I then used a Paper Artsy Stamp and stamped randomly around the layout.

Using Dina Wakley Scribble Sticks in Lemon, sky and lime I coloured the stamps in.

I have used a Memory Maze Chipboard - Retro frame which I cut up to suit my layout better,  I covered them with a white gesso and then used three different embossing powders to match the background.

With a black pen I traced around the circles that I had punched an adhered to the background.

Here are some more close ups:

Sweet Butterly Dreams- by Leanne Nankervis

Hi Everyone

Leanne here to share a mixed media canvas with you today, using the wonderful Memory Maze chipboard products. The photo is of my daughter Alannah taken at Melbourne Zoo a few years ago. It was actually photographed in the butterfly enclosure, quite fitting for this canvas.

Sweet Butterfly Dreams

To create this canvas I used some tissue papers and old sewing patterns, I sprayed the canvas with some Lindys stamp gang sprays and used some colour shots from Lindys as well. I used the Beautiful Sweet Butterfly Dreams Frame/ overlay from Memory Maze. And finished the canvas with some flowers, beads and some fussy cut butterflies.

I used the Memory Maze Sweet Butterfly Dreams Frame and Overlay for my canvas, which I painted black to coat the chipboard. I then used a black detail embossing powder for the title and the chipboard butterflies.

Title embossed and highlighted with a metallic gelato.

The Butterflies embossed and painted with Twinkling H2os and decorated with Art ingredient Beads.

Butterfly Dreams Pretty in Pink

Hello everyone Jan here again with a layout using some of the amazing products from Memory Maze.

I started forming the background for this layout by painting my chipboard pieces with Gesso and allowing them to dry. Whilst this was happening I used two separate stencils to add texture to the background.

I then took the butterfly Dreams chipboard frame and embossed it with multi coloured pink embossing powders, once this was done I added the frame to the page and drew where I wanted it to sit, I have then added some cheese cloth that I have coloured along with ribbons and assorted flowers to form the area for my photos and frame.

I have then started to add different elements to my design along with the pretty in pink theme.

I have added some pearls to highlight the butterflies.

Thanks for looking, please check back soon for more design ideas from the 2017 Memory Maze design team.
