Lucy Ohanyan ~ March DT Reveal

Hi everyone, my reveal day is finally here and I'm super excited to share with everyone what I've created with Memory Maze's amazing chippies ~

"Enjoy Yourself"

This is a layout of my oldest daughter, she's my sensitive child and she's always quick to getting hurt, actually when I was doing this layout and she saw the finished product she loved it and couldn't stop raving about it, until she saw her sister's, her response was "her's is better then mine", lol, o well, on to the layout ~

I absolutely love tearing up my papers to reveal what's underneath, and find myself doing it on most layouts. I misted the background with Tim Holtz Distress Stains mixed with a bit of Perfect Pearls, I also added texture by using The Crafters Workshop Tile stencil with some molding paste.

I used the Memory Maze Vintage Corner chipboard and misted it with Tim Holtz Distress Stain in Spiced Marmalade, I then stamped a random image on to the chippie using Distress ink and followed that with embossing powder and heat embossed it ~

used the same process for the word sweet ~

For Memory Maze's chipboard in Under Score, I added a bit of bling and used a fiber ribbon lopped through it ~

"Believe in Yourself"

This layout is of my middle daughter, who is so full of life and incredibly bubbly, I wanted this layout to reflect that a bit~

I used a Crafters Workshop stencil for the background and misted it, I then used two layers of doilies on the edges with lots of gesso in between them, I used molding paste on all my layers and embellishments as I wanted it to have a more shabby feel~

This is Memory Maze's chipboard Mother and Child, which I took apart and used as a frame, I added Glossy Accent with some micro beads on top ~

Gave the same treatment to the Birdcage Wrought Iron and dangled it with a Tim Holtz chain ~

For the word cute and the boarder hook I misted them using different colors of Distress Stains and added Glossy Accent on top ~

"Count Your Blessings"

This is a layout of the other man in my life, who I adore beyond words~

For my background I tore up my paper and misted just a bit with Tattered Angels, I also added tissue paper to my edges ~

For my Phobe Watch chippie I misted it with Tattered Angels and added Rock Candy paint on top ~

For my Penny Farthing chippie I inked the wheels and then heat embossed it with Distress powder and used Distress Stickles on top ~

Gave the same treatment to the word Forever except I used a stamp to add a random pattern to it ~

Donna O'leary- March DT Inspiration

Hello,  Donna from New Zealand here :-) I am so excited to be writing up my first post for Memory Maze.  Today I have three projects to share with you this time round.  You can do so much with

LIFE NEEDS MORE MOMENTS LIKE THIS

I built my layout up with a number of embellishments and then added all the little details like stitching.

The Memory Maze Chipboard I used for this layout is called,

I cut the rooster of this Memory Maze Chipboard and then inked it,  after inking I embossed with wow embossing powder. I Glued this straight to my project as it was one of the last elements to go on.

CHARLOTTE'S WEB

I have girls who love to read and one of there favorite story's is Charlotte's Web.  

When I seen this Memory Maze Chipboard I first thought I would use it as a mask but I remembered I had some clear sparkly embossing powder that would look like dew on the web (well that was the plan :-) )

 It is really hard to get a photo to show you all the sparkles but the web and the spider have both been glittered.

I know that the first word written in the web was "some pig" but I thought for my girls I would write special.  LOL since all girls have seen this they all want one with their name in it! I see in the future lots of chippie glittery fun,  might be an awesome school holiday activity.

 Don't you just love how you can do nothing or so much with Memory Maze.  For this layout I have left "Wonderful" undressed and dressed up my Vintage Corners 4

To dress my Memory Maze I inked it with distress stain and then stamped and random image over the top.

It just gives it another layer which I love.

My last photo shows you what I really love about using memory Maze Chipboard.  It gives a layer depth and texture, I love to build up layers.

Hi my name is Trish Rheinberger I'm so excited to be on the awesome Memory Maze DT

I kept this LO simple as I didn't want to take away from the gorgeous frame, I painted it with nail polish also the Vintage corner

'Bliss' 

I used the bolts on this LO again colored with nail polish, when you don't want to wait for things to dry it comes in very handy, its so very wet and damp here. I cut one lots of the bolts up and kept one as a corner piece

'Up the Garden path'

These were my front steps once upon a time, here I have used the cute owl that I cut up ran the leaves through my cuttlebug for dimension and lost a leaf, I think the cat got it!.

I used lots of mediums on my owl,inks, gelly roll and dtartdust pens, cutllebug embossing folder.

My minds eye paper, Bazzil CS, Cheery Lynne gate die, Dienamics lattice fence, Basic Grey Alphas, Zutter to Distress, handmade flowers, and green Tara flowers?.

Hello everyone, I'm Tracey Campbell and I am super excited to be here with you to share in all the yummy goodness that is Memory Maze.

I have a few layouts to share with you, but I have done something a little different. Instead of showing you a few of the wonderful different chipboard shapes that are produced at Memory Maze I have taken one of the large 12x12 shapes and I will show you how versatile they are. I have managed to create six layouts from this one piece and I sill have some of it left over.  The 12x12 shape that I have used is this one;

Love My Two Girls

For my first layout I have picked an older photo of my daughters Bronte and Paige.  I used both the large and the small frames as a stencil and simply drew around them with a black pen. It is a simple but effective technique to use to create your own background.

After drawing around the frames I splattered some red and black mist across the page.

Then I once again traced around the frames, this time only the inside heart shape and onto some patterned paper. I then cut out the heart shapes and added them into some of the white space heart on the background.

Precious

While digging around at Mums and Dad's place I came across this photo, it is one of the few that I have of Bronte's birth (all the others are on the old computer and I am yet to download them.) I knew straight away that I was taking the photo home with me to scrap. When the package of chipboard that I opened from Memory Maze had the work Precious in it I knew it was destined for this photo.

I have used the large heart frame as a mask in this layout, I placed it down over the base cardstock and lightly sprayed with some Mist.

For the Precious word I have inked it in a gold metallic ink.

The heart shape, that is punched out of the heart frame, has been inked in a light brown ink then heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

Believe 

This page is one of Adrian, my husband and I at our wedding, we released some butterflies after the ceremony and this one stuck around for a while before taking off into the sky.

I have used the outer edge of the very 12x12 Heart Frame in this layout and have built up a very think circle shape with Modeling Paste - I used the frame like a mask and built the Modeling Paste up to the 1.8 mil edge, it was then sprayed and rubbed with Mist to give this textured background.

I gave the small Heart Frame a very simple finish of a Glimmer Mist.

 The Heart Frame was given a few rhinestone gems for the finishing touch.

Play Time

I have used a photo booth strip of four photos of my daughters. They has a great time looking at their reflection on the screen, I just could not get them to look directly at the camera for a good shot. As you can see I have cut roughly a third of the frame from the circle to make a half frame for the photo booth strip.

I wanted a simple white finish on the frame as I thought that it would give a very stylish and elegant look, so I painted a thick coat of white paint and then a top coat of Dimensional Magic to give it a glossy look.

To finish off the layout I teamed the chipboard off with some Prima flowers, some bandage material and a few crystal pins.

Love You More

The photo that is featured in this layout is of Adrian and I before we got married, I consider these photos our engagement photos....even though they were taken some time after our engagement.

I used the heart shapes that popped out of the Hear Frame for this layout and gave them a very simple but effective treatment of covering them in Washi Tape.

Here you can see how great the Washi Tape looks over the chipboard, such a simple, fast and exciting technique.

Washi Tape is a great material to use, it is flexible, repositional and if it isn''t the correct colour you can change the colour by drawing over it. For this layout I didn't have the right colour blue, so I used a Copic Marker and coloured in the Washi Tape to darken the blue.

Love You to the Moon and Back

Another layout of my daughters, Bronte and Paige. I am sure you will all get to know them through my pages and see what cheeky little individuals they are.

Once again I cut into the large Heart Frame, this time I cut out some of the individual hearts so that I had outlines of heats. It was then a matter of painting them white and stamping script words in red over the top.

As well as using the heart outline cut from the large frame I used some of the pop out centre pieces. I painted them pink with acrylic paint and then added some dots in black.

Using some 3 Dimensional Tape I layed the chipboard on top of each other to give some depth to the page.
