{sibling love}

Hi there Kylie
here to share with you another of my creations........

I love the brightness and fun of this layout I created using a photo of my nephew and nieces, the background paper is Heidi Swapp Color Magic which works amazingly with colourful inks and paints.

To get the layout started I have used assorted acrylic paints to randomly create a colourful background. I have added many embellishments to add dimension including thread, sequins, tulle, a hand created doillie, a fabric flower, I have also used really cool embellishment which includes a Metal Button and chain and cute hair clip.

There are many elements to this layout to make it really pop I have used Memory Maze Chipboard Circles.

Circles on circles 110 x 180 min buy 3 Memory Maze

I painted 3 different circle pieces with Black Acrylic paint - once dry I placed the Chipboard pieces onto my layout.

Once painted black the chipboard circles really pop....

I hope you love this layout as much as I do .....

Pretty Cards

For this post I have created a selection of cards using the micro bicycle, leaves and wire butterflies chipboard. I have inked most of the chipboard used with Jumbo Java Versa Magic Chalk Ink. This works great on the chipboard.

Thank you Jan 💝🤗

{little moments big memories}

Hi everyone Kylie here.....

Here to share another layout with your all - today I will be sharing a layout I created using the fabulous Memory Maze Ornate Frames - I love these frames there are 3 different sizes in the pack, I have used the largest frame to be the main embellishment for my layout.

Round fancy frames 285 x 285 set of

I have painted the frame with Gold Acrylic paint to coordinate with my layouts colour tones which I have created using Acrylic paints and stencils with my Gelli Plate on Marshmallow cardstock.

I have placed my photograph ontop of the ornate frame which helps to lift and give my layout dimension which I love.

I hope you have been inspired by my layout!

Simple layered Layout

I love how easily chipboard slips into a layered project.
For this layout I have painted them with metallic acrylic paint, quick and simple.
I have used mainly 7 dots papers and various embellies.

The chipboard I have used can be found in the web shop here.

Thanks for looking

Magical Milestones layout by Tania

Hi everyone! I'm so happy to be here sharing my first post for Memory Maze as a DT member. I have such a gorgeous pack of goodies to work through and create with. My first project is a Mixed Media layout, with a watercolour background! I'm quite fond of this type of background.

I layered up with some stenciling and lots of stamping. The background stencil I used is this cool one from Memory Maze:

My chosen chipboard pieces are the Script mini words, title and the gorgeous set (6), of butterflies:

My watercolour background was made with a mix of watercolour paints and Dylusions Sprays mixed with water. I coloured all of my chipboard pieces with some Smooch Accent ink, which I have had in my stash for a long time! It's perfect for these pieces. Just a layer of Gesso first, then the ink goes on nice and smooth!!!

Before adding my photo, I added some paper layers and used some pocket cards and other bits of ephemera.

I love these butterflies, can imagine a million more projects with them. Thanks for visiting!!!

Cool kid with Candy

Welcome everyone to another month of creating.
Today I have used some mixed media on my layout.

I firstly covered my cardstock with some clear gesso.
Using a ruler and a black stabilo pencil I drew black lines
across the middle of my cardstock, some darker than the others.
Spray these with water and let run. Carefull not to make your cardstock
to wet. It will fall apart.
You can dry between water sprays if you like.

Use a pencil to mark where you want to place your photo,
then spray with some spray just around where your photo is to go.
Dry this well.

The chipboard I covered with versamark
then a couple of coats of the embossing powder.
Place all your papers, flowers and the rest of the embellies onto your layout.
And then splatter some white ink around.
