A little bit of old with Memory Maze

Welcome Memory Maze Fans

I haven't been very well these past few weeks, on a lot of asthma medications that have left me with the shakes making it impossible to create along with a bout of vertigo, so I only have one new one today along with some projects I made earlier this month.

"Chip of the old Block"

Cute new addition to Memory Maze is this little mushroom, here I have just painted it white and then added some pink and brown ink.

Chip of the old block chipboard word, has been embossed in black and the word block has been done in a 2 tone affect in yellows one more solid at the bottom with glitter and the other at the top has more glitter.

Arch window had been painted in yellow paint and the black crackle paint added but not all over so some of the yellow shines through giving it more of an aged look.

Chipboard banner painted black then paper added to the flags.

Cute little bird house has been embossed in black and yellow and the yellow stamped in a random background image to give it the look of texture, the little bird also embossed in blue.

"Family Canvas"
8x8

I started with an 8x8 canvas and added ripped up pieces of paper in 3 styles, stuck them done in a random way to cover the canvas using mod podge.

Then using an old fabric pattern tissue paper I stamped random images, torn it up and added it her and there on the canvas and down the sides and top edges using mod podge.

I used a couple of different masks and texture paste to add leaves and words over the background. then the entire thing was sprayed with several colours of glimmer mist.

Handmade resin dragon fly from Scrappers Garden slightly inked with distress ink.

Bird cage charm from Scrappers Garden, has been lightly painted and inked in distress ink

Memory Maze chipboard key was inked with an ink pad but only lightly so that some parts remained in their raw state.

Memory Maze chipboard corner also treated the same as the key but also sprayed with a black glimmer mist

Another charm from Scrappers Garden also painted and topped with a Green Tara rose.

"Friends Canvas"
6x6

Starting with a 6x6 canvas I created a textured background using wall tape I found at the hardware and Green Tara lace.

The background was made from a row of grid tape that has been stretched then a row of Green Tar Self adhesive satin flower ribbon & 1cm lace, another row of tape this time not altered followed by another row of lace and more stretched grid tape.

Using mask and texture paste I created some dots of the top and bottom of the canvas, then just added some random texture paste here and there and spreading it out.

Spraying the canvas with 4 different colours of glimmer mist, and distress ink in brown on the edges for colour.

Then the layers start, first with a few pieces papers, a doily cut in half and also sprayed.

A Memory Maze frame has had texture paste applied in some areas and then covered in gesso, sprayed with the matching colours from the background and clear embossing powder of the top to give it a bit more of a shine.

Dream Heart

I found this cane heart while looking for a wreath, it is approx 8' and came pre-painted white

I started off by spraying the heart with orange/peach and green spray then flicked black watered down paint onto it.

I started with a large white wild rose and sprayed the outside edges with glimmer mist in flower power & the center in honey dew mist, I took a piece of black flower lace and cut a single flower off it I then split in and cut the center out of it and wrapped it around the center of the flower.

Memory Maze chipboard balloon also glimmer misted and some Green Tara trims tied to the top
