Hello and welcome to a new month where we have some very exciting and inspirational layouts to share. I am going to be kicking it off this month with a huge post, so please keep reading and I hope you enjoy all I have to share.
My first reveal this month is something a little different from me. I don't usually do off the page work, but I had this Fairy House that I had previously worked on and it was a little love worn from the girls playing with it and also from it's journey up in the car when we moved from Western Australia to the Top End, Darwin. I spruced the Fairy House up with some wonderful chipboard embellishments from Memory Maze to give it a more decorative touch.

Fairy House
In this project I have used a vintage clock, a picket fence and a vintage corner.
In this close up you can the vintage clock frame around the circle entrance to the house. I actually only wanted to use the frame around the clock so I gently cut the clock face out. I then decorated the chipboard with a deep purple dauber and ink, applied some Glitz to the larger leaf pieces and last I adhered some pearls around the circle frame. I love this Vintage Clock piece as it is so fine and can be used for many things.
Here you can see the chipboard picket fence - a simple coat of white paint and a fine sand and it was good to go.
The vintage corners were a great addition to the roof of the house, as it gave it a finished look. Simply a matter of a quick paint with some white acrylic and it was done. I love how stylish the chipboard comes up with such simple techniques.

This next layout is one of my hubby, Adrian and my youngest Daughter Paige. As you can see they are complete opposites in colouring - Paige takes after me and is very pale and Adrian just has to look at the sun and he tans.Daddy and Me
In this layout I have used the "Daddy and Me" title, 2012, assorted arrows and a wrought iron birdcage.
A close up of the title "Daddy and Me" where I have painted the words pink then stamped a decorative scroll in gold ink over the top to give it a bit of texture, I also cut the words apart so I could position them differently on my page. The assorted arrows I have left raw.
I positioned the wrought iron bird cage on the base of my layout as you would a mask and sprayed it with a gold mist, to leave the cage impression. Once it was dried I adhered the sprayed chipboard cage to my page.

In the following layouts I wanted to demonstrate that you do not have to have a surplus of Memory Maze products to make you creations look great. I have only used one product on each of the layouts.
Splash
Being so hot up here in Darwin all year round we get lots of chances to go swimming, but we do have to pick and choose what swimming holes we visit because of the Crocodiles. This layout is of the girls and I going for a swim.
In this layout I have used the large reed corner.
I tried out Rangers Tim Holtz's crackle paint on the ***** chipboard here. Let me tell you, even though it didn't photograph very well there lots of cracks and the texture is divine. I definitely will be using the crackle paint on the chipboard again.
For the heads of the bulrush I have used micro beads, which I simply glued down.

A simple layout using only a word title as the feature.
Adore Grandad
I think that this is the very first photo we have of Adrian's father with all of his Grand Children. He is such a doting Grandad, he loves each and everyone of them so very much.
I have used the title Grandad
To get this look just ink the chipboard with a Navy Blue embossing ink and apply Holographic embossing power over the top and hit it with a heat gun.

These next layouts are ones that I actually did for a University Assignment, how cool is that - being able to scrapbook for an assignment? The assignment was about Creative Arts in my life, so these are some of my memories where performance arts had an influence on me.
Memories
This layout is of my memory of going to ballet lessons whilst very young. I have used a Memory Maze Frame and the word title Memories.

Live Stage Show
This layout is about a live stage show I attended when I was a teenager - my very first performance of Shakespeare....must admit I didn't understand much of it.
I have used a Memory Maze frame and cut the centre chipboard out as I wanted to use the frame in landscape orientation not portrait and Memory Maze chipboard is so flexible in allowing for changes.

Lucky In Love
I just had to use this Memory Maze wrought Iron 12x12 frame for one of my wedding photos. It is such a beautiful cut design, perfect for display items.
