Lucy Ohanyan ~ April DT Reveal

Hello everyone, it's my turn to share some of Memory Maze's super gorgeous chipboards and I hope you all have had a chance to get your hands on some, I can not get enough of them. The designs are so incredibly versatile and the quality of the chipboards are amazing ~

Make A Joyful Noise

This is a layout of my oldest daughter when she was about 6 months old, she's now 9. Don't ask me how or why but all three of my kids make the most unique facial expressions and thankfully I've caught a bunch of them in pics, lol ~
For those of you that know me by now, you know I absolutely love tearing up my paper, it just adds so much dimension to the layout. For this layout I used a Prima mask with texture gel and while it was still wet I misted it with Tattered Angels in Almost Black. I also added fiber ribbon, my new fave product, all over my page ~

I used the Memory Maze Vintage Lock chipboard and heat embossed it with Tim Holtz Distress Powder in Black Soot, after it cools off you have to remember to rub off the tiny crystals as this is what gives it that distress look, I then rubbed a tiny bit of Distress Stickles on top ~

For the Flower Swirl chipboard I used the Paint Dabbers in Espresso and then Gold for the flowers, after it was dry I used a bit of Distress Stickles on the flowers ~

Little Boys Are Angels Too

This is a layout of my son, and yes he gets this intense look every now and then and I was lucky enough to capture it here ~

I absolutely adore this color combination, the brown and gold play off so amazingly against the light blue. For this layout I did what I love to do which is layer, the more the better is my motto, lol. I also used the Paint Dabber in Gold for my stamping as well as for the brick stencil ~

For the Memory Maze Under Score chipboard, I first painted it with gesso and once it was dry I used the Paint Dabbers in Espresso and Gold, allowing each layer to dry before adding the other ~

I used the same process for the Vintage Corner chipboard, except I also added some glass beads to it ~

Brown Eyed Girl

And finally a layout of my middle daughter, who is a handful, as is evident in her look, lol ~
So this is a more girly layout with soft pinks and browns and touches of gold, which is another pretty color combo. Here I used a Crafters Workshop stencil with Martha Stewarts White Texture Paste and while still wet I misted it with Tim Holtz Distress Stain in Victorian Velvet and also Tattered Angels in Cork ~

For the Memory Maze Bird Cage with Bird chipboard, I heat embossed it with a shabby chic pink and white embossing powder and I added pink glass beads to the bird ~

For this Window chipboard I painted it with gesso and once it was dry I added Paint Dabber in Gold on top of it ~

For the Border Hook chipboard I used the same process as for the Window ~
